nope, looks like a good deal
Ngl $550 per tyre for a Pirelli at full RRP definitely sounds a bit suss.
Not that i'll buy Pirellis again. Good tyre for handling, sh1thouse for longevity.
Burnt through a set on a Kia Sportage within 20,000k's
Now on a set of Winruns and they've barely worn after 10,000k's
My p7c2 is currently on 60,000+ km. Still excellent on wet roads and I don't need to slow down much on the corners
@Mortin: I got P7 initial few weeks I was not happy with handling, then it became more stable, great ok wet surface, it's from 2020 from Tyroola, buy 3 get 4th free. I rotated my rears to front last year because I started losing grip on pickup. Amazing tyre. I'll buy again, if I couldn't find anything better.
@sqheaven: the p7c2s were not released until june 2021 so you probably have the first gen p7s. the p7c2s had very substantial improvements
@bumluffa: I said P7 lol I need new sets, waiting for a deal actually.. I'll probably get the same P7C2 this time.

Softer rubbers are good at handling the road,
but by virtue of being softer, they wear out quicker.
( Michelins are the same: great tyres, but longevity is shorter )
Awesome deal, only about 7.5% more expensive than the Pirelli set I bought from Mycar during last year's BF promo
Talk aboit inflation
I guess they're under pressure to maximise profits.
You need to get a grip on these puns
@serpserpserp: Thought people would be tyred of the puns, but I guess they're gaining traction now.
@beeeej: You lot had better tread carefully!
Talk aboit inflation
A Goodyear to put downward pressure on inflation
Hope mycar has the 50% off sale
Mycar's rrp is about 12% more expensive compared to the same Pirelli tyre from Bob jane. So a 10% more discount will not equate to 10% cheaper
I just compared the prices of Pirelli Scorpion AT Plus tyres, MyCar with 50% off will still work out to be cheaper than Bob Jane with 40% off.
Yes cheaper but not 10% cheaper
I got Pirelli P7C2s for my Mazda 3 last time with Mycar for about the same price. Really good tyres
I got the same, already done more than 60,000 km.
Had a puncture which was replaced for free and also had 6 rotation and balance so far
Sweet tx. I had to buy a new set last week but got busy. Should be a good Saving. Would have preferred Bridgestone but these should do.
Can anyone vouch for the Kumho at52? Need new tyres for my work ute.
Great LT tyre. Not as good as Yokohama Geolander AT range (esp in the wet) but otherwise a very good tyre and equivalent to the Falken Wildpeak series. They are a slightly heavier tyre than other ATs (won’t matter if a work Ute) but as solid builds. Have them on a Jimny and Challenger and they perform strongly overall.
And at 40% off this is killer value
Says Purchase a set of four (4) or more select Pirelli Car or SUV tyres, in one single transaction, 18" and above to receive 40% OFF but when you add 5 to the cart it only gives you 40% off four of them…
Price discount isn’t shooting the stars out, quite mediocre in the size I’m looking at.
Mine is about $500 savings. The cheapest alternative that was good was Bridgetones for about 1.6k. 4 Pirelli's would be 1.1k
Does it include tyre replacement and disposal? Or we need to pay extra on top of it.
"Tyre prices include fitting, standard balance, valves and tyre disposal (Retail customers only. Excludes Trade & Fleet)." As quoted from my invoice.
what are the "Eco friendly" variants?
Interested to see if anyone have had experience with the Pirelli SCORPION MS for my SUV, looks like a new range and not many reviews out there…
The bobjane website is broken af. They need to fire who ever is designing / maintaining it.
Doesn’t even have one of the most common cars in it’s tyre finder, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, and has an assortment of other models/variants that aren’t even sold here or are sold under a different model name here.
They probably pay a pretty penny to access the database that converts cars to tyre sizes, at least implement it for the correct market you’re operating in.
Entering your tyre size (and searching on car sales for it) would’ve taken less time than your rant here
Is Jack back.
