Unfortunately this time their wines with free delivery looked not so good and/or more expensive, so basically it was better to pay $10 for delivery - the $20 discount = effectively $10 off the price you see on the site.
Oh and it worked fine on existing accounts, as the OP noted.

I've found that leading up to Christmas there are lots of people bidding on wine and driving the price up to almost the store price, or sometimes even above (most of the wines on Grays are excess wines sold at heavy discount in store anyway). So my tip is to wait for Jan if you are looking for something cheap; or use the voucher for one of the 'fixed price' wines (no huge bargains but with $20 off it will be cheaper than in store, assuming you are happy to buy a whole case).
