Which Lifetime Subscriptions Are You Still Using?

With various deals giving lifetime access to services, I wonder how many people actually continue to use them long term and get value from them. Today, there's a body building app.

Other Examples include:

What Lifetime subscriptions are you still using? If you paid, do you feel you have got value from them?
And, optionally, what purchased or free services do you have that are sitting unused?

Plex has been worth it with the skip intro and credits feature, also have still been using windscribe since they had a lifetime plan mentioned on here ages ago.

Plex. Did use Getflix a long time ago. Back when there was only a few streaming services.

    Lifetime Malwarebytes and Adguard

Calm. Paid for it, but have been using it regularly for a couple of years now so it's paid itself back.

Same, a quick trip to Turkey helped relax me on the price too.

Although I'm finding I use the same ones a lot and relying more on Youtube content these days instead.

Yep, I half impulse bought this ages ago but it's essentially a regular kids nightly play item these days

OzBargain Platinum — the ultimate membership for bargain connoisseurs.

    It includes:

Early Access to Price Errors - Get notified before retailers realise their accidental $0.01 listings. Be the first to add 100 of them to your cart hoping they get delivered.

JV's Personal Deal Alerts - Tired of missing the “real deals”? JV himself will text you whenever something isn’t a “real bargain” so you can save even more by… not buying it.

Plus much more that I can't mention without fear of getting banned.

Plex - I have definitely gotten value for the money I spent years ago on this. Broke even 2 years ago.
SimpleLogin - I use this every day, the lifetime price was definitely worth it. Broke even about 3 months ago.
Adguard - I don't use it anymore. I have used ControlD instead when they offered a lifetime discounted rate and I have liked that service much more.

What's good about ControlD for you? Last time I checked, I still prefer free NextDNS account.

I still use Adguard app in my phone, combined with NextDNS for DNS in its setting.

Over the last 30 days of data, my ControlD account has made 4.3 million queries over 80 endpoints, which is above the 300k free limit of NextDNS. Makes the free version not an option for me.

At the time of purchase, ControlD was 10USD/year vs NextDNS at 30USD/year. It's a no-brainer at that point. Plus, ControlD has ever so slightly better performance according to DNSPerf, but it's not enough to really matter.

A tonne of web development softwares, frameworks, etc. Half of them I don't even use, and most of them are actually GPL and you're not even obliged to pay for them.
