    Thanks and done

In accordance with the promotional terms, we have now automatically applied a $10 promotional credit to your account which will automatically be applied to your next purchase of eligible item(s) shipped and sold by Amazon AU.
The promotional credit must be used by 31 December 2025

    • +1

      2025.

So you have more than a year to spend the $10 promo credit.

      • I think I can manage that.

    • next purchase of eligible item(s) shipped and sold by Amazon AU

      how to check eligibility ?

      • +1

“Eligible items” excludes products sold by third party sellers including Amazon US (Amazon Global Store) and Amazon UK even if fulfilled by Amazon, digital purchases such as e-books, products that are not in new condition such as renewed products, subscriptions such as Prime Video and Audible, any gift cards and postage or delivery rates.

  • $10 promo from $200 = 5% bonus

  • +8

note that promo credit, if i am not mistaken, invalidates cashback

    • +3

Yes, the worst part is it automatically applies at checkout.
You need to manually deselect it in the payment options (if you remember to!)

      • -1

Try to use it right away if possible as it's also short dated

  • +14

Why is 'Use a gift card, voucher or promo code' looping me to 'Payment method'

    • +2

Same, can't seem to get to apply promo code

    • me three!

    • same.. tried both desktop Chrome and mobile app

    • Still the same for me this morning, unable to apply the code

    • +11

I managed to get it working using "Buy Now" instead of adding to cart first and then checking out.

      • +3

        This works

      • +1

thanks, this worked for me too!
otherwise it was still looping to payment method for both desktop and app this morning!

      • +1

        thanks! that worked

    • The option just came back again, was a bug

  • Next: $250 spend and 10k spots

  • -4

damn, forget to apply code, what to do?

    • +1

If you want, you can chat to customer service. They might just give you $10 especially if you shop on amazon a lot.

    Ty op

  • -1

i didn't even get the last $10 promo even though i got an email, will check with amazon before buying another $200 credit lol

  • +6

I recommend spending the $10 on these promotions on something small, as if you try to use them during cashback promos, the credit will invalidate your cashback.

    • Thanks! Is it worth activating cashback when purchasing the $200 gift card?

      • +2

        No. Not eligible.

  • +7

In order to get the promo code field, you need to use 'Buy Now' instead of adding to your basket!

    • +1

Thanks, wasted 10 mins trying to find promo field not showing up for add to cart.

      • Working, see daskarzine's comment above.

    • -1

I used the Add to Cart before I posted the deal and it was working. So in between that time I posted the deal to now, something broke

    • +1 had to use "Buy now"

  • Just a word of caution using promo credit voids cashback deals. Make sure you use it before the Black Friday upsize hits :)

    • You can always unselect promo credit when making purchase.

      • Can you? I haven’t been able to deselect it since there is no checkbox.

  • I can't find anywhere to enter the code. When click on the option "Use a gift card, voucher or promo code" under Payment Options at the checkout page, I get to the selection to choice which CC to pay - no where to enter the code.

    • +2

I had the same problem, but clicking "buy now" instead of "add to cart" worked for me.

  • Tough call, either this or 4 Qantas points per $1 spent..

    • What is that deal please? And why can’t have both?
If it is just 4 points per $1 then not worth it since you can get amazon gift cards at 3.5% or 4% off (with no points) any day but this deal works great because you still earn the 200 points plus the 5% bonus.

      • +1

My bad, it's back to 3 points per dollar

        • +1

I think 300 points is worth around $3.60 (if you buy them from classified) where you can just get $3.50 off thru macquarie with no points. Your choice if you think it that is worth it but yeah close one. I’d stick with $3.50 off in my bank account.

          • @Save 50 Cent: Oh ye, I mainly just buy the gift cards to stack with my credit card rewards points so it's relatively little effort to keep points club+

  • +1

Great. I'll have lots of credit to spend on items that cannot be shipped to my house!

    • Yes I used to spend a lot at Amazon, but since they stopped shipping certain things now I rarely bother shopping there at all.

  • -1

getting worse and worse this is not even 10% but 5%

Don't hand out your money in advance, wait for cashback and spend that $200. surely better than 5%

    • +1

Amazon directly dont usually give 10% though, when has this ever happened?

Prezzee hasnt happened for a while and any recent that was/ is 10% usually only for a $50 purchase (eg Cashrewards / SB / TCB sites usually)

  • -1

Not sure whats going on or if this is exhausted?

Tried via app, will not let me add the code - even after clicking "Use a gift card, voucher or promo code"

Tried via Desktop, exactly the same experience, there's nowhere to add the code in the checkout AND the code isn't auto-applying….

Have done this many times before, not working atm.

    • +1

The solution is in the comments.

I bought about 10 mins ago

      • Thanks I usually dont do Buy Now, as there are usually less options… 🤦‍♂️

  • Can the $10 credit be applied across multiple seperate purchases? E.g. $2 item today, then $6 item tomorrow and $5 item the next day.

I purchased the gift card this afternoon, then purchased a $2 pamolive hand soap, got the $2 promotion credit applied, so total cost was $0.

Then i tried buying something that was $20, and only got lole $5.xx promotion credit applied.

    Dont know what's happening.

    • Does the $20 purchase include different items? Promo credit only applies to items sold and delivered by Amazon.

      • Nope, only a single shipped by amazon item.

  • Has anyone had any problems with redeeming this credit??
I used it and had my account locked due to suspicious activity!
I supplied the required docs to Amazon and they have clarified that its for the gift card or credits used and they violate their terms of use somehow….still waiting on a response from them on this, but wanted to check if anyone else had a similar problem with their account getting locked?

  • Amazon.com.au eGift Card - Print -Christmas Northern Lights

  • I just purchased and received the $10 credit

  • i wast charged s&s prices for paying w/ promotional credit

could refund and re-order that product ?
