Can anyone recommend a cheap CAD computer for work please?
Needs to have shipping to Sydney available and ideally from a seller that's registered for GST (it's a business expense).

I'd suggest not getting a refurb :)
Checkout NebulaPC or TechFast on Ozbargain here, often have sub $800 Gaming PCs, and pretty much always going to be the better value for prebuilts (without proprietary components like you'd find from OEMs).

You can still claim business expenses regardless of whether the seller is registered for GST or not.
You just need a receipt to prove your purchase.
True, the cost is tax deductible, but if it has a GST component, that GST is effectively free or businesses.
and if it doesn't have a GST component, that GST is still effectively free or businesses.
Zero is always zero, but yes sure, it's techincally not wrong.
Probably worth checking required specs for the software you're using. It can be found on software manufacturer's website.
