Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps 50% off Monthly Subscription $43.99/Month (Existing Subscribers Only, Was $87.99) @ Adobe

200

Hey all,

I went to check my account and looks like they're running a Lowest offer of the year - 50% off promotion at the moment. Took me 2 seconds to press a button and save on my subscription. They're also going to refund me some money too. Seems like a no-brainer if you're on the full-price subscription like me.

No doubt someone will tell me about gift card stacking or other things. So please fire away in the comments.

I also don't have the right link - you simply need to press the manage plan, then accept the offer.

Is that for the year? Or month?

    • Month. Updated the title.

      • But you have go commit to 12 months. They are giving a discount for not leaving for 12 months

Needs to be the year price, not month

Undoubtedly a good set of programs, but very difficult to justify even at half price for personal users.

It is a shame, as I used to purchase this when it was a perpetual license.

Acrobat is a good PDF program, but when I have taken the latest version out for a test drive it doesn't overly impress me - it has too many additional prompts which slow things down (offering to save documents to cloud links), and I really dislike the save dialogue (which is the same as the one in my 10+ year old version). Wish they would just ditch this, and go with the same Windows default save dialogue that every other app uses. I call it the Fisher Price save dialogue, and even though it can be bypassed, it adds an extra click to the work flow.

The apps seem to try to do too many things in the background, that you don't necessarily want them to do. Trying to pre-empt and be overly helpful (or perhaps they just want as much of your creativity on the cloud so they can monetize it through their AI ventures??)

If I could get it for a fair price, would still be happy to use them however.

For those needing an Illustrator replacement, have a look at the perpetual versions of CorelDraw. Quite able software, that I hadn't used since version 3 until recently (I think they are up to version 23 now.

Looks like it's available for lapsed accounts too.

When I go to "Adobe Account" -> "Manage Your Account" (at the bottom of the home page) I see an offer to restart at the discount price.

However, clicking on the "Restart" button in the middle of the Home page just brings up a full price subscription

Adobe has one of the worst price gouging schemes globally and in my perspective revolting business practices.

When comparing to US prices to claim they have "discounts" is disingenuous in my opinion.

Didn't neg as "technically" within the aus market it is a "discount" but in reality it's bullshit

  • How do i access the 50% promo? Can't find it in the link provided or on my account

Honestly if you can, try to migrate yourself away from Adobe.

Affinity has good alternatives to some of their applications and their are loads of others that are so much more deserving of your money and skills than Adobe.

    • such as? Adobe is universally used so its easy enough to bounce between businesses and know what you are doing. Adobe is really the "Office 365" of the design world.

I used Premiere for years (maybe decades) to edit videos professionally and personally - after running out of Nat Geo and Lebanese deals to get access at a much more reasonable price, I just couldn't justify paying Adobe massive subscription fees. I was very hesitant to jump over to DaVinci Resolve, but finally made the jump. Takes a couple hours to adjust, but after that - it works like a dream and I'm so glad I've switched. Ended up only paying $200 for an older licence on Marketplace which still gets me the most up-to-date version plus any future updates - I'm already in the green after only half a year of not paying Adobe. If anyone else is on the fence, give the DaVinci trial a go and make the jump!

  • In my day, that was half the price of edu photoshop to keep

  • Managed to get several of my work's accounts hooked up, thanks! For reasons unknown, one of them didn't have the option.

    • Mine too! Glad I could help.

  • Damn, no offer appears.

    • neither but if you follow OP's instructions (click on the link and then specifically select "Manage Plan" on the left hand side) it'll show up there. The code that showed up for me was RBFAA1250PAA.

      • I did. And no offer appears.

        • I have 3 x subscriptions. It didn't show up for one of mine for some reason. It only appeared on the full-price sub that I have.

  • thank you!

    • You're welcome! Power to the people haha.
