Cheaper off GamersGate with code GGD for $40.47 AUD - GamersGate is an official store, not a keyshop/marketplace.

See past GamersGate OzB posts here

No real reason to buy off Steam directly unless you a) have credit to use or b) points you want to earn as games are almost always cheaper on other sites like GMG, Gamebillet and the like.

  • I used to play SF5 way back in 2016. How's online multiplayer in AUS? I remember it was quite difficult at times to get matched with someone in AUS and getting matched with people in other countries was a lag-fest.

    • Does rollback improve?

    • Interesting question. Hope it's smooth!

      I found this https://www.reddit.com/r/StreetFighter/comments/13zpimu/sf6_…

But there's equally other threads that complain about lag..

I've been playing nightly without an issue.

Even on wifi it's within 50ms latency. I couldn't tell the difference when playing in person.. sf5 solved most of that latency issue (on PC) by the end of its life span.

  • For those inquiring about online multiplayer in AUS, my experience with this game has been excellent. Even with a very high ping of over 200ms (sometimes even 300ms!), the matches are often more than playable and sometimes you don't even notice it. That said many times the connection will be much better than this and you will probably notice extra slight improvements in responsiveness.

The funny thing is though, you can sometimes get a significantly lower latency connection that actually performs worse (usually a wifi player) so it just depends.

But in general the connection to overseas is incredibly good and if you set the preferred connection type to any level and to wide location, you should get a new match in a few seconds to a minute or so, even at odd hours.

This game really is a high benchmark for solid (rollback) netcode imo 👍

Will I get matched up with Justin?

I gave up on Street Fighter 6.
I don't like the new drive system.

Maybe I'm getting old but I feel like peak SF was 2-4. Plus the Aplha & MvsC series.
