Seems to have hit ATL according to CCC, 65W output should be good to power a laptop for standard use EDIT: 45W output according to a comment and the actual product description 🤦.

Here's the description provided by Jeff Bezos:

2-in-1 fast charging: with a total power of 65 W and two USB ports, the power bank allows you to quickly charge two current-intensive devices simultaneously. (Note: USB-C 1 has a maximum power of 45W, while USB-C 2 has a maximum power of 20W).

30 W high-speed recharging: a full charge of the power bank takes only 3.5 hours - half the length of a conventional power bank.

Versatile possibilities: the Anker 537 power bank charges laptops, phones, tablets and a variety of USB devices as quickly as possible.

Large capacity: 24,000 mAh provides enough energy for about one MacBook Pro charge and at least 4.8 charges for the iPhone 13 Pro - ideal for taking with you on the go or a weekend trip.

Box contents: Anker 537 power bank (PowerCore 24K for laptop), carry case, manual (English language not guaranteed).

Most laptops need at least 65W to charge. This charger has a maximum of 45W when charging one device.

    • Thanks! updated the description.

It's really poorly described, but it can actually do one device at 65W. If you connect two devices it drops to 45W + 20W for 65W total. I've got my macbook plugged into it drawing 65W currently.

Not quite ATL due to coupons previously, but still a great deal. Very happy with mine.

    • If you have something low-powered it should do (really, just needs to charge faster than the computer discharges).

45W should be sufficient to keep up with the Steam Deck playing AAA games. I use my Anker 737 on flights and its a lifechanger

  • Weird, I can't seems to find any info on the usb-a

24000mAh = 24 Ah. Much easier way to write it.

No one writes it like that.

I ordered two of these during the recent Prime day sale (one for a friend w/o Prime subscription). I opened mine, charged it, as far as I can tell, it got to full? When I disconnect and reconnect it to the charging cable I see the lights flash to full then go off. Okay. Disconnect cables. Push button to display charging level. Nothing. Connect to laptop, nothing. Connect to phone, nothing. Follow the troubleshooting guide to connect two ports to each other. Still nothing.

Went on reddit and discovered this seemed to be a particularly flaky model.

Hope you got a unit from a good batch.

did you wait for a bit after charging for it to cool down? sometimes they put temperature safety protection inside. e.g. my ikea USB cables have them so if they get too hot they will cut off (never happened to me indoors but someone using them in a car said they had issues).

I have seen anker powerbanks mention stuff like "monitors temperature 100 times a second" so it might have that inside. I dunno maybe I'm wrong and you did wait it just wouldn't turn on.

      • I tested about 2 hours after charging. I dunno, maybe I just got a bad batch but eh. I figured I'd put it out there.
