reject shop sells 4 pack Toshiba CR2032 for $4
TOSHIBA
brand name (probably made in china though)
this is the about the only size i use for car, garage remotes, motherboards…
problem is that if you use shit batteries then you're replacing them every six months
About $3.50 delivered from ebay and they usually last me over a year in my remotes although I only drive every other day
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/295297869305Surprised they are still selling these as they don't meet safety standards.
the meet china safety standards
i doubt accc whatever monitors much of ebay traffic
@tonyjzx: I didn't even realise the new standards existed until you just mentioned it and on some level I get it, as with all things it must be horrific for the tiny percentage that has been affected but just makes me think, 'thank you big daddy nanny state for keeping me and my kids safe'.
Apparently it is so dangerous that in the last 40 odd years:
"35 children have died globally from swallowing or inserting button batteries, including three in Australia. "This is apparently similar death toll for small neodymium magnets, wonder if they'll go after them next, maybe we need manditory DCJ visits to ensure your fridge doesnt contain magnets holding up drawings..
Since death from choking on food is significantly (like 100-1000x more likely) and from what I read death from food poisoning is in similar numbers big daddy government should maybe make it mandated that all food be supplied as a smooth paste in biodegradable paper straws for all us idiots that don't know how to chew and swallow food properly.
Another vote for reject shop, they have polaroid multipacks of button batteries
Are these any good? Hard to tell with lots of fakes or old stock
$6.59 for 20x
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/355413612257Yep but no brand vs GP
True. 4x cheaper, I doubt it has 4x less energy
I got scammed by an eBay seller who I've previously had good dealings with. Bought Duracell cr2032 and they were all dead or had 30% life. They tried to accuse me of testing them with a wrong tester despite the batteries not even working in a simple device. eBay screwed up the refund process and I gave up chasing down my money. Leaving them negative feedback was my only consolation.
So debating whether I take a gamble on cheap no names for my ZigBee devices or buy expensive ones from Amazon
Is this good, I can get genuine panaphonics for a few $$!
Suit air tag?
I used these for my airtags and they're still going! :) Thank you so much!
is GP brand better than Duracell?
5 x GP LR44 for $6.99 or 10 x Panasonic LR44 for $6.17? I doubt the GP are twice as good.
Most $2 shops sell multi packs of button batteries.
