    The G3 2nd slot only takes M.2 2242 SATA and I checked prices, not cheap …

      Beelink EQI12 has 2 PCIe Gen 3 M2 slots, I have one running my Home Assistant with a dual Coral in one slot and 1TB NVMe in the other slot. Bit more expensive than this but it has an i3 1220P, 10 cores, 12 threads and 24GB RAM.

      I second this. I bought the G3 on sale about 2 months ago, and it's been fantastic, no regrets. But yea, sourcing a M2 2242 Sata for the second slot seems to run around $40 per 512GB, all the way upto around $180 for 2TB.

      Hoping for something great on Aliexpress singles day coming up.

      Technically you can, but what is really your use case? Its a PC, you didn't really need data to run it. But you will need keyboard and mouse.
