  • Laphroaig The 1815 Cask Legacy Edition $340off to $185 with free delivery

Isn't this the more significant deal?

    • It is it, but they are advertising the one they probably are trying to get rid of the most.

Typo - should be $34 off.

  • Laphroaig 10 Year Old used to be <$79 to be a deal, not sure about Cask Strength

Yep wonder why this is so expensive.

Cask Strength is a different beast altogether, not a comparison

    • The one you are referring to is most likely
10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700mL (40%) - I recently purchased two bottles of this through my friend in London on HotUKDeals for 29GBP (https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/laphroaig-10-year-old-scotc…)

The one in this deal is Cask Strength (58.5%).

As somebody said, different beast altogether. Some drink it with water as it may be too strong on the palate.

  • Laphroaig 10 Year Old and Laphroaig 10 Year Old Sherry and Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strengh are 3 different bottles
The normal Laphroaig 10 Year Old can still be found around $80-89 but cannot compare with Sherry or Cask Strengh
RRP for Laphroaig 10 Year Old Sherry is $169

I appreciate the free shipping you guys offer on everything. Because of that, this is probably the only online store I've bought liquor from.
Paying $20 shipping on a $100 bottle has killed most deals on other sites for me.

    • thanks for your support

  • hey OP - when can we expect to see the 18 y/o (2024) on the shelves (or more importantly in my glass?)

late next year. Suntory cancelled distribution contracts in AU and are starting their own distribution - so, opening warehouses, hiring staff and so on, will take a while
that's why all these deals, the current distributor has to clear all stock and we're passing on the savings. These prices will never be seen again, that's for sure :(
My guess is, after these stocks are gone, will be a long time till we see new stock from Suntory
