Hi! I’m new to this cashrewards thing because I feel like it’s too much of a gamble and only peace of mind. So has any not receive their cashback even then the order is tracked? Just to be sure when there’s a transaction pending in your app it means it’s tracking right? Thanks a lot!

Yes I can see an approval date for my order too but still not 100% sure if they’ll pay me or not so I’m just asking around if anyone with a tracked order has been denied their cashback before. Like is there’s a risk even when the order is tracked.
Yes.
As long as you've read the terms carefully, you'll likely be fine.
I've had bonuses denied due to 0% on certain categories.
Thanks, it’s a deal they post on here I’m just buying with everyone.

ADACRP
The board approved acronym is ADACBHS
This one is just fear. Though looking at OP's comment history, it looks like a more risky cashback. Might graduate to ADACBHS in January.
Lol may I ask what do they mean?

Story@mapax: Thanks, it sound like this is not the safest kind of bargain on here lol
@Luitturino: Cashrewards is generally reliable but as mentioned below cashback programs should be treated as a bonus rather than a determining factor.
Super informative, tottally understand this
It's a good reminder that you should consider a cashback a bonus rather than a saving.
If you can't afford it without the cashback, you shouldn't purchase it with the cashback.
Thanks lol I never know this before doing it.
@Luitturino: Personally, I've never really had an issue - other than not doing due diligence on a few occasions.
I'm sitting at about ~$2,500 lifetime cashbacks across 3 providers. Though, I've slowed down as of recent for smaller purchases.
My general advice would be to disable ad blockers or use a different browser profile each time to ensure there's no interference.
@ihfree: Oh wow thanks. Is the ad blockers disable for the cashback app to track correctly? If so my order is already tracked but I’m still little anxious about it lol.
I thought it was IDGAF?
Just remember the real cashback is the friends you make along the way
Lol ok then. All the letter you sent to your penpal at the cashback stores
if its tracked should be fine, only issues is if you use a promotion that is not available on it.
Thanks, I saw that policy too so I just avoid using any code completely.
I've never had any major problem with CR. I'm up to 'Lifetime Rewards' of $1,756 and I've currently got $261 available for withdrawal.
Generally have no issues. Few times they try on declining a deal. Have argued and been successful with most. Just persist and provide as much detail as possible for a claim rejection.
Thanks. Why can’t they just tell if they would or would not approve a deal before the return date of the item tho.
It generally works well … I'm just shy of $3.5k lifetime cashback … but there has been the odd hiccup.
I've noticed there seems to be greater problems with some retailers than others.
Thanks, that’s a lot of cashback lol. So like they could still deny you a cashback even when it’s been tracked and pending? I wish if they could just tell us if they would approve it or not before the return date of the order.
It’s generally not Cashrewards but the retailers acting dodgy on their end and denying genuine claims.
There’s always recourse for it though, you can appeal it and most times they do overturn if the claim is indeed legit. As a last resort - you dm the reps on Ozbargain, they are very good. (Not sure if Cashrewards has associated reps here but TC and ShopBack for sure do). Thanks for the reply. Hopefully it won’t happen
I have had things track and be pending, but then get rejected later, along with some just not track from the get go. In some cases I've chased up CR and (after a bit of back and forth) and I've ended up with the cash. In others, I've just let it go as not worth the hassle.
As others have said, I don't rely on the cashback from a purchasing decision perspective, but rather a nice bonus. Most amounts are pretty trivial (most probably less than $10), but there have been a few higher ticket purchases with cashback amounts of $100+.
Thanks, it’s my first time getting a bargain with cashback. I aways imagined it’d be such a hassle to get a cashback bargain so I’ve been avoiding them. But then I’ve seen lots of post here with cashback deal so I thought it’s a normal deal just like any other. I should be more careful next time then.
I've used various cashback services and find that Topcashback generally pays better.
For every tracked transaction, there’s also an estimated approval date written right next to it.
