    Dreadful quality shoes.
    Barely worth $29 at best.

    • +3

yep i found veryyyy sliperry in carpet. beware.
      i rather like julius ceasar

      • Does that mean I'll finally be able to pull off the moonwalk?

        THANKS OP

    • +3

The decline in quality over the last few years has been insane. They weren't that good to begin with either.
      At $29 sure.

    • Agree. dreadful

    • +1

Maybe a dumb question but what makes their quality so bad? I have had a few pairs that have held up okay over the years

What sort of life should you expect from a pair of shoes like these

  • $66 now

  • +1

$66 now. $29 should be the usual price for this shoe considering the quality.

  • +1

    Sizes US7, 12 and 13 shoes are still $29

    • +1

      12 is not. 11 and 13 are.

      I'm a 12, FML @#&*!

      • +1

Still there under other sellers on amazon, scroll down

        • +1

          Awesome, thanks mate!

  • +1

Been this price for a while. Was same price at JM website

  • +1

More stock is being added size 9 went back to 29. Got a pair! Thanks for posting

  • poor quality - similar to aquila. Rather spend $50-60 or something which will last more than a few months

  • +3

    Nice ice skating shoes

  • +4

    Dogshit quality shoe.

  • +5

I have been using these for 5 years and yes they are trash but what other options are there around this price point?

    • +1

These are the trash ones. I might add, other JM shoes aren't bad but these are clearly made for a price point.

  • +1

Are these pronounced Julius or Hulius?

    • +3

      J is silent. Yoolius

      • +2

        Hoodus ~ spanian

    • Ju-Li-As

      Nice Ju-Li-As shoes

  • Been almost a decade since I had a pair of Julius Marlows. They weren't super expensive but weren't cheap either and while they looked good at the start, they never got comfortable, were always slippery on almost anything I walked on and were trash within 6 months.

    • +1

Sounds about right for $29 then.

      • yeah it'll be a good buy for a handful of events. Wouldn't daily drive them

        • +1

But what if you spend $29 feeling like a king then slip on the street and $29,000 hospital bills comes out

  • No longer $29

  • +2

The moment these started consistantly being posted on OzB was when everything went from average-below average to landfill.

  • Do anyone other than greasy real estate agents in their shiny too tight suits wear these?

    • +5

REA are milking it at the moment. They'd all be on RM Williams to match their BMWs

    • +1

      Yes.

      Recruiters and graduate accountants

  • +3

I used to sell Julius Marlows and had several pairs, the quality is so trash don’t expect them to last more than 2 months before the leather or sole starts to peel.

  • +3

Wearing these is like walking around all day with cardboard wrapped around your foot, it's uncomfortable and you end up with cuts on the back of your heel

    • I find that's the case with all dress shoes. I have yet to find a brand that doesn't cut your heel up for the first two weeks you wear them.

  • +2

    now showing $66.98 - $74.95

    • Still $29 for me. Gotta select a size, then an "other sellers on Amazon" box will appear that gives you access to the $29

  • I’ve only ever had a used pair from Vinnies (same brand) for $10. The quality/build must have changed because the pair I have seem perfectly fine.

Maybe I got the pro model

    • +1

You would have gotten a pair that's made from leather. At one point all their shoes would be made from leather.

I had a pair that lasted a number of years, the leather held up well. Eventually the rubber sole wore out.

  • +1

Made of plastic, but could be an ok choice for someone who only needs to wear this sort of shoe a couple of times a year.

  • +2

Great deal… size 12 is too tight for me last time i bought these.. so got 2x size 13 for $30 each thats a steal thanks to the poster!!! ^^D

  • Im keeping a set in my car for emergency situation at work hehe

  • Is anybody else getting most prime items pushed to 1 week delivery now?

  • +3

Just realised it's not real leather but synthetic. Just cancelled my order.

Can't believe they are making dress shoes using synthetic leather.

    • +3

They call it "Vegan Leather" these days

      • Haha, marketing spin. Most of the time you pay a premium for Vegan

  • What's the point of being 5'5" but a US9

    • Lol this made me laugh way more than it should
Would be nice to be able to buy XXXL kids sizes

  • +1

I wouldn't get these if they were free
