but don't drink more!
Even if they provide us a good deal, why should we support them? We let them stab us in the back then pretend all is good?
nothing about colesworths is good…but if you want a discounted drink without gambling, then waiting 3 months for the payout with the notorious BWS/Shopback combo, this is the only way.
They're no angels, but our government is to blame for inflation and cost of living issues. The gov love it when people blame the big evil shops instead of them.
Genuine question, how so? Do they dictate market prices? How do they bring down inflation? Have they raised taxes?
Does anyone know why Baileys 1 litre has neen removed from Coles online? It happened over a month ago. Not sure if this is everywhere.
Hrmm not seeing a lot of hot specials this time:
- 2x Glenmorangie that Alps mentioned is a good buy
- Talisker 10 for $82 is pretty good
- The Balvenie double wood and Aberlour 12 for $90 is okay but been better deals not that long ago.
- $150 for Hibbiki is generally considered good, sign up or use your Coles Plus 10% bring it down to $135
- $150 for Lagavulin 16 is eh. Same as above, $150 and pair it with Coles Plus 10% for $135 but even then i'd probably hold out for $110 deals we saw several months back.
Can you stack Coles Plus Saver with SAVEMORE?
Yes
Thanks!!
Your 10% discount will be applied. Final savings on invoice.
If I order liquor with other grocery items, and if the liquor is out of stock, will a 10% discount be used for the grocery items only? I don't buy much groceries and the discount will be less than $7 if the liquor is out of stock.
Yeah a bit lame without any specials on spirits :(
Hadn't had the Talisker before, the briny sea flavour is quite interesting at this price worth a crack.
Talisker 10 YO around a campfire is god-tier.
Option 1: The Macallan 12YO Double Cask Single Malt Whisky $152 - $40 = $112. Meh
Option 2: Dalwhinnie 15 $115 + JW double black $65 = $180 - 40 = $140. Dalwhinnie will come to $89.45 and JW double black $50.55. No the greatest deal… but a deal nonetheless.
Couple of deals that took my interest:
Prices pre discount
* Monkey Shoulder $63
* Jack Daniels Bonded $80
* Glenmorangie as noted by others $75
* Glenfiddich 12 $77
* Ardbeg 10 $105 if you like drinking cigarette buttsThinking about a mix of the middle three, trying to decide if I need another bourbon…….
2* Chivas 18 @ $90 each not bad.
not all cooles participate in this
Hmm this is generally my favourite deal and I feel let down by it. No real specials, although I picked up the Glenmorangie and a few other bits and bobs. I’ve mentioned before it’s good for buying cheaper booze to mix into cocktails and I stand by it I.e 3 bottles of Sky Vodka and a bottle of wine for $150 is good value. 1 litre of Grey Goose comes to the same as duty free at airports.
From my experience last year, Cyber Weekend is approaching and Uncle Dan had pre-covid prices so wild, the app kept crashing. Might be worth hanging out for that one!
Croser NV at $23/bottle is a good buy if you take 7: $17.29/bottle
Gotta love this deal when it stacks with a $20 off $100 spend.
Cannot complain about Loch Lamond 18 and a $6.50 bottle of De Bortoli Sacred Hill Reserve Tawny for $90.50.How do you get the additional $20 off?
These Coles deals never work for me..must be my location in Vic?
Your need to pick a Coles with a Liquorland next door.
Thanks OP.
Glenmorangie 10 x 2..$150 - $40.. $55 each
Expecting DM to price match shortly on certain deals
