These skecher slip ins are perfect if you're travelling to the US where taking your shoes on and off every single time you catch an international or domestic flight is a painful necessity. The fact that they now come in designs that look pretty good, and are both functional and very comfortable to wear (many of the styles come in different widths and arch support tech for neutral and over-pronators) explains why they are so popular in the US - including for the age groups that previously wouldn't have gone near them for fashion reasons.

As we have seen with Birkenstocks etc., the stigma of skechers being ugly and 'old peoples' footwear will soon wear off in Australia like it has in the rest of the world.
