      i know you're joking, but please don't take advice from John Cadogan seriously. He might have been an authority on car stuff 20-30 years ago, but he's well and truly past it and has now entered "old man yells at cloud" territory.

    I know a great buying agent. I recommend. he got over 20% off the new car price for me 6 months ago.

      20% off "the new car" doesn't mean much without knowing the car/price.

      Some cars are more heavily discounted than others, and discount % on higher priced cars more likely than entry level models for example.

      RACQ has a new car buying service, but no mention of any $$$ savings/discounts beyond a crappy $100 credit towards RACQ membership services.
      Is RAA offering something better than this?
