Sony WH1000XM4 - Worth Paying $299 for Seconds Unit?

Hey guys, was initially looking at buying my girlfriend either Airpod 4s or Airpod pro 2s for her birthday, but I thought it'd be better to grab her a pair of over ear headphones as those are what she typically rocks (she currently uses a cheap one off amazon).

Is $299 off eBay a good deal to get a "seconds" pair for the WH-1000XM4? I'm seeing prices of $400+ for brand new pairs which is quite a lot.

  Sales happen often so it depends on how quick you need/want them. If you want them now buy them, if you can wait you will get them cheaper.

  I'd be aiming for about $250 with sales.

  Also worth considering the Bose/Sennheiser models and maybe MX5 of the budget is around 300.
