It sounds like there's a pretty dramatic difference between the C855 and C755.
Huh? Last year’s equivalent flagship model was the C845. Just wait, for the prices to fall in the sales week and then at Xmas. If you’re lucky, you can stack with discount cards or get some sweet cash back deal.
I also have the 85 inch c755 which is fine.
Whilst not the cheapest 65 inch tv. Got this with 10% off vouchers t JBHIFI and the MINI LED blacks are awesome, will rival any high end samsung QLED and the stock Google TV is sweet. fast processor means not needing another dongle out the back, happy to use the built in software for once in a tv

Entry level OLED, not a bad set but the TCL will get much brighter. Depends on what your needs are really.

If you look at the deals on the model on this site since launch, it's definitely trending down dramatically. If you're not in a rush waiting a month could likely only help.

Yes, unless the 75" c855 is not under 1600 , I'm a happy y owner of a c755!.
Finally bit the bullet on the 85, not the ATL, but that'll be black Friday (price target ~2600), and since this TV is the darling of ozbargain it'll likely end up on backorder for 2 months, so I'm fine with paying $150 more to enjoy it a couple months sooner…
