Hi Sunshine Coast Ozbers,

Let's celebrate the 18th birthday of this great community irl :)

The Venue: Green Zebra
- Great rating on Google 4.6/5 (1,366 votes), and absolutely gorgeous river view irl (cased 24/10/24).
- $45 gets you a two-course meal.
- There is some parking outside the restaurant. The surrounding area is mostly apartments, might need to be there a little early to find a spot.
Addy: 5 Grand Parade, Parrearra QLD 4575 (Next to Buddina and Warana)
Date: Saturday 9/11/24 12:30pm
Capacity: Up to 30 people
Budget: $45
Re-fundable Deposit: $10 via Beemit
Seating: The seats will be pre-labelled using a random set of oracle cards, and each person will draw a card from the set at the entrance to use as their name for the meetup. You are then free to share your real name and ozb ID as you wish. This is just so that people have a choice to keep their ozb life private. (But I will need to know yours because reasons.)

Update 2024-11-01:
A booking for 9 people have been made at 12:30pm. If there are more people registering, I will just amend the booking. Please make the $10 deposit by Wed 6/11/24 with your ozb id. Let me know if you need any help.

The easiest way to pay the deposit is to click the button "Beem $10" on this page on your phone, after you have the app installed. You can also visit https://m.beem.com.au/RadR on your phone's browser. Alternatively, just send the deposit to @EnchantedCat.

    I'm interested but surprised there aren't (yet?) more registered for this meetup. Is OZB NOT not funding costs? Other meetups are listing: "OZB will cover up to 45 dollars" and are at capacity with waitlists. Anyway, I'm in the Brisbane northern outskirts about half way to the Sunshine Coast so I might be interested in the 50 min drive up if this meetup goes ahead with support?

      I assumed people made their way here already read the main thread, my bad. Yes, it would be covered up to $45, hence the mention of the two-course meal above.

      I'm waiting for about 10 people to commit to the event.

    Would it be OK to please bring my wife & our 18 month old? And, fund/pay their lunch ourselves? With a smallish group, it sounds like we wouldn't be squeezed for space at the restaurant. FYI, we're driving up from the north side of Brisbane and have other activities booked to make a short break/getaway of it staying on Sunshine Coast over the weekend. My deposit's been Beem'd, thanks.

    Just an update, there is a 1.5% surcharge if paying by card, the restaurant won't wave it. For $45 spend, it comes to about $0.68 extra.
