      The 1.25l bottles for these are on special this week for $1.80, so I suspect this is what the title is from (copy & paste error maybe?). The 1.25l aren't on special next week. The only mention of pepsi, solo or sunkist bottles in next weeks catalogue is the 2l everyday price of $3.

    Does anyone else think the big multinationals are absolutely taking the piss? The supermarkets are likely riding the gravy train on a percentage margin basis but it's the 4 or 5 suppliers of everything which are really behind this weekly jacking.

      Shopping more and more at my local independent. Meat prices and fresh produce for example are on avg around 60% less.

          Beef roast - $9.90/kg (will cut up and use it for a curry/ Guiness pie).

          Streets 2L ice cream - $4.99

          1kg Home Brand Aussie Cheddar - $8.70

          Kg Bananas 99c/kg

          Apples $1.90/kg

          Abbots whole grain bread $2.45.

          Ie. Colesworth prices in 2017.

          To be fair, Honey (Aussie) was $15/kg. But just wait until next week or so and it will be $9.90.
