I think that's a phenomenal price. I'm pretty sure the nailer kit on its own is normally about $1000.

The drill is fantastic. The saw is really solid AND comes with a track, which is a total win. I've never used the nailer, but the reviews are pretty positive for it.

You also get a redemption and can get more batteries, which is a win.

Pros - bargain price for some high quality trade level tools. Metabo batteries are the best in the game. Good redemptions - Metabo rarely offers a sale and redemptions together.

Cons - if you're in a different ecosystem, obviously you're spreading yourself a bit thin. These tools are quite heavy duty, which means that they're quite heavy. Do you really need all that extra reliability if you're not a tradie?

    • What makes their batteries the best in the game?

Low stock in WA. Very tempting but i hope they sold out or my wife will nail me to the post.

Tell her it comes with a nailer — she'd be more efficient.

Metabo is the best, really wish they'd take off here.

I wonder how long until the EU legislate their universal batteries like the EU did with USB-C.

Apparently universal batteries for power tools are very close for EU

Would be a good kit to get into Metabo with, with all those batteries,
and that drill is world class German build , if not a bit heavy.
Really need some 4amp batteries in this kit for using tools overhead.
Just remember Metabo was bought out by Hong Kong interests and makes a lot of their tools in China now, although they have a 6 year warranty when registering online which I would definitely do, and 3 years for batteries and charger.
And the nailer is $650 for the bare tool on eBay, with battery and charger it gets close to a grand .
In conclusion : it’s an awesome deal , those batteries alone sell for $100 minimum each , Just be aware of what you’re buying.
