  • damn i was just thinking this is a crazy good deal getting ready to buy it 😭

    • +1

congrats though on that if they let you off with that price, lmk if they don't :(
excellent value for a laptop though :o

      • +2

I got a Bose 900 soundbar for $200 on a pricing error last year. Worth the risk imho.

        • +1

I got the Bose 600 or sth for around 100 bucks from the same one.

        • +5

Thats because they had stock. Many orders got cancelled. The ones that reached the warehouse got send next day as its mostly automated by robots. By the time the execs were notified of error, alot of the orders had already been dispatched or delivered.

  • +1

dang, anyone who scored this and gets it got super lucky :)

  • +1

$510.84 for the Core Ultra 7 258V version.

Definitely a pricing error, but you might get a $10 gift card out of it lol

    • -6

Definitely a pricing error, but you might get a $10 gift card out of it lol

Ship from Amazon, always honor it.

      • +3

If its in stock as orders get sent to the warehouse.

In this case, op was able to order but not in stock, so likely will get cancelled. Small chance it will get honored

        • op was able to order but not in stock

Didn't realize wasn't in stock during op order.

  • Out of stock

    • This would have been an awesome score

    • This one now has the badge at the top that it's the #1 best seller in traditional laptops

Amazon are going to have to cancel a lot of orders haha

      Not available

    • +2

Purchased this one, will report back if its cancelled.

      • +1

It’s disappeared from my orders so it’s probably cancelled

    • this is back

      • +1

The deal in the OP also was also available briefly again.

        • I hesitated :(

  • +1

dang, looks like they caught on and all the items are oos

    • +4

Nope, just the way Amazon algorithm works.

      Source: trust me bro

On a side note through, awesome find!

      • Whats the likelihood this gets fulfilled?

        • +5

          50/50
(Either it will, or it won't lol)

          • +3

@CharcoaI: my math on this is

            50/50?

            but 50/50 = 1

            which is 100%

            click buy

      • +6

The algorithm works by listing a few at low price and increasing gradually as people buy and reducing as sales drop or cease. Thats why i add items to my cart and just wait till they suddenly drop by 70 to 90%. As soon as i buy it, the price jumps to what it was before lol

        • +1

DUDE! you can add OZB PRO to the end of your username.

        • +1

How do you get alerts that the items you've put in your cart has suddenly had a drastic price drop?

          • +5

@Bonemusher: Check cart every day a few times. You will see an alert that item price has changed.

I remember grabbing a $200 pc case for $20 and 5kg WPI for something like $17

        • Correct, but I was talking about something a bit different ;)

  • +1

    Missed it by that much..

  • +1

Wow wtf, has Bezos gone mad?

    • That spaceship has sailed a long time ago.

      • Thats elon, and his missing tesla. :)

    • +4

Anyone remember the 'Ken Bruce has gone mad!' ad from the 90's where he's rocking in the corner on a rocking chair wearing a straight jacket?

      • +4
        • +1

Haha mad, that's the one! Thanks.

  • +12

Congrats to everyone who got this deal (ps: I hate you guys 😢)

  • When you are on here and miss a good there,

  • Amazing find OP, missed it

  • What are the chances they actually honour the price?

    • +1

amazon normally quite ok…tho there are some instances that they dont ship for months then cancel

      • +5

Last time a similar laptop deal was cancelled

      • +1

No real risk since they don't charge you until it ships

        • Since they don't charge you until then also easy for them to cancel too

        • Since they don't charge you until then also easy for them to cancel too

        • I had one order which was a price error. It was never shipped. So had to cancel order

    • Jeff who?

  • +1

    actually need one too..T>T

  • Good find op. Missed out

  • What a great find

  • Deal of the century, Amazon usually honor it too if they have stock.

  • Back in stock go go go!!!

    • Back out of stock xd

    • Oos for me

  • Cmoooon

  • +3

Would have honour if only one tried to purchased but knowing ozbarains influx no chance

    • I think you're right! Unless they take it down/Fix the pricing.. Poor OP

      • +2

        Yeah I thought about that

        • Thanks for giving me something to refresh over lunch though, just in case!

        • +1

Heroic, you sacrificed for the good of the ozbargain community.

          • @Deals For Days: Hope they honoured your order, Jezzabell. Sharing truly is caring, mate. Thanks for keeping the ozB spirit alive.

  • +1

all MSI laptop on amazon showing oos now

    • Sounds like theyre in recovery mode… chance of getting honoured dropping by the hour

  • I guess their stealth series are better quality ???

    • +4

They normally fly under the radar

  • Nice find

  • +2

Reading down the comments to see if someone's found another one

    • Same, I doubt it though as MSI has taken down all the gaming laptops from their store

  • +4

love to know if they honoured it! pls post!

  • +1

    Great price, hope they honor

  • That’s the spirit of Ozbargain

  • wow if this is honoured I think it would possible be one of the best deals ever on ozb?

    • +3

Bunnings did the Dji mavic fly more for like 10% of retail (price error) a few years back. Those that ordered it either got the Mavic or a $250 voucher for their "trouble". I got a voucher and has reinforced my buy first, think later approach.

      Updated, found the deal:
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/490047

      • oh wow this is better than i remember it was. amazing

  • Nooooo the day i dont check ozb!

  • Third amazing laptop deal I've missed out on now!

C'mon OzB gods, my old laptop has been broken for years :(

  • -3

Yeah I highly doubt they will honor this. There is price errors and there is… this lol. It's going for $3.2k at other stores.

    • -1

Sour grapes. Amazon are generally good with small volume price errors like these

      • +4

i hope that the ozbargainers get it. makes no difference to a big corp, but a new laptop could be great for students etc. who got the deal>

can't say i'm not jealous though!

      • Nah just realistic, was never salty since I knew it would get cancelled. A half price error or something is one thing. This would've been way, way below actual cost price and a huge loss. Expecting them to honor a newly released 3.2k laptop for $600 is just delusional lol. Not saying it wasn't worth the shot however.

  • +6

A number of years ago I scored a top of the range Kenwood Chef from Amazon for about $80. It was about 80% off RRP and they honoured the price.

  • let us know if someone gets it :)

    • +10

Mine was delivered an hour ago ….. then i woke up

      • +2

Mine was cancelled but suddenly came back when I woke up

        • +2

I didnt even have a chance to unpack it

      • Dont let your dreams be dreams

  • Great deal - good luck to those who ordered

  • Is this deal actually back orderable or is that just a label for the title?

    • It was back order when it was posted. It is now expired and no longer able to be ordered.

      • I see. Oh well, good luck everyone.
