Variable Rate - Owner Occupied Principal & Interest 5.64% (CR 5.94%), Investment P&I 5.99% (CR 6%) @ Hume Bank

00

Hello Bargain hunters;

For anyone looking to refinance or make a purchase, below is a summary of Hume Bank's limited offer (extended to 31/12/2024 on their website). 35% discount off their current rates. Lowest current variable rate I've seen. With my past volume with Hume Bank, I have no postcode restrictions. Once we have spoken, I'll advise if your situation qualifies. Promotional offer is extended until available lending is reached, which is expected by 30.11.24. A large amount of my applications in Oct would be formally approved by 30.11.24; so I'll be a surprise if the promotion extends longer than 30.11.24. Hume Bank is only giving me access to the promotion until 30.11.24.

Hume Bank's once off fees - $199 + 150 = $349

I've done a lot of applications with Hume before; they requires 3 months' bank statements of everything. I.E credit cards and bank accounts. Which have caused applications to be knocked back in the past or delayed. It's best if I have a look at the 3-month statements and talk to you first to best position the application, increasing the chances of the application going through.

Typical documents Hume will require (and I will require to complete my assessment prior to lodging)
• 2 most recent payslips
• 3 months' bank account statement of everything - Credit cards, Bank accounts, Zip Pay, Home loan statements etc (I do provide access to cashdeck to help you send this to me)
• Driver License at least - Hume bank requires 2 forms of IDs (I tend to ask for Passport but can accept others)

Isnt this loan for locals only? Seems to suggest that on their website

    • I have access to any postcodes when it's put through myself.

    • Thanks for the phone passkey tips

    • I am on this loan product from 4xxx postcode from the last 2 yr intro saving they did.
Maybe they changed it, or not relevant for Mortgage Broker engaged?

    • Refer to above; I don't have postcode restrictions.

    • I don't have these restrictions ;)

      English is a strange language

      • He also can’t spell licence

I'm seeing the word "licence" correctly used as a noun. The alternative using the verb "license" - "OP is licensed to ACL #389087"

          Driver License at least

          Dat not right :)

          • @willyroo: You are hilarious. Just following Oz bargain's requirements.

  • Makes sense

  • Variable, so they give the .35% discount at signup and 1 month it inevitably (invariably?) goes above and beyond standard interest rates (Classic hume move)

    • If rate increase by RBA; yes; they increase it but the .35 discount is given to you for next 2 years after settlement. It's similar to what I did 1.5 years ago but back then, they provided .5% discount.

  • What is the rate for 100% offset ?

    • From 6.09%

  • Fees must be pretty terrible if the comparison rate is worse than multiple other places offering 5.89% and 5.89% comparison rate.
