Morning Rant (not sure who Rant is)
Just noticed that the additional 5 cents/litre discount for RACV members at Ampol EG has now been reduced to 2 cents/litre where you combine with a Woolworths 4 cents/litre discount.
Not very long ago used to be able to get 9 cents/litre discount, for this combo, now maximum is 6 cents/litre.

It's still 4c with Origin.
So the Shell 4 cents off via Linkt App plus then 4 cents Coles Fuel is better - 8 cents in total.
Combined that with $20 in store and you can get 18 cents per litre off.
Don't need Linkt.
AFL app is also 4 cents off and that is free and doesn't require a Linkt account.
Is the AFL 4 cent offer finishing end of this month ? I hope not !
The terms and conditions of the AFL offer says it ends at 31 Oct 2024 at 11:59am AEDT, but it may be extended without prior notice. You never know!

@jv: Has anyone heard anything about an extension of the 4 cent AFL Shell promotion ? It is getting close to end of the month….

All I've seen is that the competition they are running finishes that date.
@jv: I read it in the terms and conditions but can't be sure that this is the most current version ? https://www.afl.com.au/fuel-discount-offer-terms. Like you I have been using it for years now so hoping it will extend. I guess we will find out very soon. Are there any other 4 cents options? I am in WA so don't use Linkt and carsales is gone :(
@marketingpolice: There are a handful of other options. Have a look at the Fuel Discounts Wiki for other Viva Energy discounts (and I suspect the Shell V-Power Racing Team discount may be the best option for you).

@jv: Not sure maybe their IT person forgot about an end date? Good to have a back up incase they remember so can just substitute it. I learnt two things recently about Shell. The operator can manually apply 4 cents off even without a valid voucher plus you can bring more than one car, get the operator to add the fuel bill together and only use one voucher !

That was always the case. The only restriction is the total number of litres.
This is something I noticed a number of weeks ago, but I have not seen any communications about this (other than quiet changes made to the RACV and EG Australia websites).
EG Australia appears to have axed three partner offers within the last six weeks or so (Sherpa, Rest Super, PerkMates) and have worsened both this offer and the related arevo offer (which now only gives you a 1c/L discount when stacked with a Woolworths fuel discount or the in-store spend offer). Considering EG Australia is reportedly in a terrible state, it is probably hardly surprising that they have been cutting back on some discount offers lately.
EG was founded in 2001 by brothers Mohsin and Zuber Issa.
These two also bought Asda supermarket in the UK from Walmart. Managed to run that into the ground too. Think of the brothers decided to cheat on his wife with a Big 4 accountant. Obviously either he is not listening to her or her advice is very bad but guaranteed expensive.

Ampol Foodary still seem to be running their 10c off per litre promotion for Toyota drivers.
Also stacks with woolworths discount. Worked twice for me.
Ampol Foodary only recently 'officially' allowed EDR / WW discount stacking with NRMA (both the Fuel + In-Store offers) and the APOD fuel offer (5c standard & 8c Premium) at the 200+ participating outlets.
There's been reports of people able to stack the Toyota discount with the EDR/WW offer (although Toyota and/or Ampol hasn't officially announced this) So I wonder if there's going to be official word on combining the Toyota and EDR/WW discount at the participating Foodary outlets anytime soon?
