The Hybrid watch bands could have been a bit better quality for this model.
Overall a great watch with a great display.

$318 for Bluetooth model non AU stock.. IMO Not bad

    • Sorry for the noob question, does BT model make it better spec also then, in additionto price?

      • +1

They're all BT, it just mainly means there's no cellular connectivity. Bluetooth is used for communicating with your phone

For many, yes, but I’ll take AU stock any day—it comes with a 2-year warranty (at least on paper). I’ve been waiting for the price to drop, and from what I’ve seen, this is the lowest it’s been.

  • I have GW6C 47mm LTE I got for free from that S24 Ultra preorder deal. Before that I had GW4, GW5, GW4C, and then GW5P. I must admit, with GW6C I really miss that prolonged battery life of GW5P. But I didn't really like GW5P design without the rotating bezel.

that said, I now got Samsing Galaxy Fit 3 and have been wearing it for 2 weeks. have no intention to go back to GW. it's got everything I need (notifications, time, sleep and activity tracking), it's much lighter, and lasts a few times longer.. I don't really need to pay with it, and I don't care about having LTE in my watch. so I'll keep GW6C for the next preorder / trade in deal at Samsung

    • Is gw6c a good step up from gw4c?

      • +1

I had GW5P between the two for a few months so can't compare directly

but to be honest with you, I haven't noticed a lot of difference. maybe 6C was a bit more snappy here and there.. overall very similar if not identical experience

  • Samsung watch battery life is horrible. Sub 100 is the right price point for these

    • +4

I have the BT version of this watch and get around 2 days plus with normal use.

I bought my Samsung watch off ebay for sub 100. Can confirm I am very happy with the price.

  • Shows $744 for me?

    • same until I changed the postcode. It seems a lot of amazon deals lately wont ship to regional at the major discount…

  • Tizen or Android, any verdicts from the experienced users?

    • Samsung ditched tizen last gen, it's all android now.

I think they might have even shut the tizen store down

    • Product specifications OS Tizen 4.0. This would be incorrect.

      • That's what I noticed too and wondered

  • Tempted to switch from 5 pro to watch 6 classic 47mm. But scared of battery life sacrifice.

    • I did exactly that and I kinda regret it. difference in battery life is quite shocking

      but it has the bezel

anyway in the end I got Galaxy Fit 3 and I actually love it lol. getting at least a week of battery life with not that much functionality and looks sacrifice

and much cheaper, fit 3 is $85 on EPP

      • Can i get atleast 2 days with AOD? else i will back out

        • 2 days is possible, depending on how much activity tracking you do

but if you expect 2 days and then also do sleep tracking after 2nd day might wake up to the flat battery

I didn't find battery life impressive. rather annoying

  • I can't see a lot of value in LTE watches until more mobile providers support them.
I don't want to numbers hare if you have to use one of the big three and have to have a $50 per month plan to use the feature.

Just use a prepiad sim on watch. Works great and cheap.

      • Yep but I can't find any cheap deals for an esim for a watch. I don't want to pay more than $10 a month for the privilege of being able to call someone if my phone is out of range.

Can you recommend any cheap deals?

  • Telstra $35 prepiad sim for 6 months, it's currently $12 on their site.
