I don’t think you’ll get “dodgy ones” as in non official apple rip offs. However, I 100% believe there’s a chance you can get ones that were previously returned by customers (say they didn’t fit great and were returned).
Amazon AU sell genuine AU Apple product. I’ve bought from them before and then checked the serial number with AppleCare AU. Mine was absolutely legit AU stock
I really doubt that you would get returned ones that have already been opened. They usually sell that stuff via charity stores or auctions.

Honestly, as a bit of an audiophile… these are very good. Especially given a) the price and b) the convenience of them + the case. I have Sony XM5 over-ear headphones, and they sound better, but they're nowhere near as convenient.

I bought one from Amazon. The box was dirty and I felt like it was already opened. I had to return it.
I thought the same when I got mine. But the seals were in tact and all looked good / new inside.
I think they just get a bit ruffed up in the warehouse.
So Offieworks won’t do price beat over the phone (they’ll confirm but won’t take payment). Insisting I go in store, which is not possible until tomorrow. Is this a new thing? Frustrating.

Yeah I just had some old JBL Earbuds that died after 2-3 years (of minimal use), contacted support and got a full refund. Good luck JB or Harvey doing that.
Airpods Pro 3 incoming soon. Across the board Apple discounts mean they will soon be replaced. I'd hold out a couple of months unless you have no headphones at all…

Apple has only released Airpods once in the first quarter of a year - back in 2019. The other releases are around iPhone launches. The Apple-centric websites don't expect them until late 2025.

Is the 2024 version the one must get for assist with hearing aid?
