Found this amazing product for $30. since it was OOS thought it is gone. but with @nearby found it available in Victoria couple of stores. in Ali express it is $29. but think it is worth with warranty. it comes with Grid connect smart app.

  what is this??!

  it’s an RGB bar but with a normal lamp light at the top?

  isn’t the whole point of RGB because it looks pretty in the dark? so that lamp will make the RGB looks really dim and barely show on the walls of your room.

  you could use it with the lamp part off I guess but lots of cheap RGB bars on Amazon btw. a lot of them come as a two pack.

    I get what you mean! I found this light on Bunnings and thought the same at first, but after trying it, I realized the spotlight and RGB actually work well together depending on how you set it up. The RGB still pops, especially when you dim the spotlight or switch it off through the Grid Connect App. I think it’s nice to have the option to switch between colorful mood lighting and regular light. But yeah, if you just want pure RGB, you can always leave the spotlight off. I've also seen some cheaper options on Amazon, but I liked this one for its extra features and app control and warranty.

      yeah tbh most people will probably trust Arlec brand compared to random amazon brands even if paying a little more.

      a lot of the cheapest wireless app ones on amazon probably have dodgy apps which will request access to unrelated info on your phone. if you look hard enough though usually you can find one from a good chinese brand which is ok.
