The good thing with this compared to previous ones is the battery. 6000 mAh compared to 4000mAh.

    • What are you doing that requires long battery life?

Just sitting outside in the sun chilling holding a fan for hours?

These things and peoples’ fascination with them genuinely intrigues me.

Who’s the hottest in the world right now?
JISULIFE, we’re bout to get down.

      • +1

I'd be taking it on campervan trips. Bigger battery simply means I don't have to charge it after every use 🤷

        • +4

Why not just buy a small desktop fan for your campervan? Why would you want one you have to hold with a hand.

      • +9

I don't need a big battery, I use mine as a fart fan. Drop your guts then send the message.

        • +2

I will use this advice for my supermarket crop dusting sessions.

I did the Amalfi coast last year and it one one of the hottest, driest temperatures I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing (and I say that as an Aussie).

I would've killed for something like this on that day…. Surprised my heart didn't give out with the heat + extreme amount of walking we did everywhere.

        Speaking for family:

        Menopause.

Shame these sold out, id have loved to have gifted one…

        • Just what my wife is going through… She hates those Hot Flushes… She will love the one I bought her

          • +1

@ThePunchingBag: If shes not on it; try Evening Primrose Oil too.
Not a doctor, do your own research, etc etc. - But the main effect is has is slowing oestrogen shifts.
Which more than 1 family member tells me; doesn't stop the symptoms, but makes them somewhat predicatble, and far less severe.

      • I was recently overseas in Seoul and this type handheld fan was very popular amongst tourists and locals alike for keeping the heat and high humidity at bay. I would have loved to have had one of these the time!

For anyone wondering like I did, it's USB type C. No mention in description, had to check photo review

    • +1

Any idea if it works on a USB-C to USB-C charging cable? Some only work if you use a lower powered USB-A to USB-C cable.

      • +3

Confirm It works on C to C

        • Legend, thanks

      • +2

That probably has more to do with the charger than the cable or fan.

        • I'm meaning when a device needs 5V/2A, the PD charger doesn't handshake with it?

  • Look promising, thanks!

  • +2

Got this one a while ago. Battery lasts for AGES. It is pretty loud though at higher settings but works great for me.

  • Picked one up… Will give it a try… Cheers OP

I bought this for my kid at full price a few weeks ago. She likes it and we can vouch for its build quality. Annoying to see so many deals now lol

  • Thanks OP. Wondering if anyone has experience with JISULIFE Portable Neck Fan Pro, 100 Speeds Bladeless Fan, 5000mAh Rechargeable, Mini Hands Free. Wondering if it can throw enough air. I have read very mix reviews. Thanks in advance.

    • I prefer the one with 1000 speeds.

  • Bought one. Hope it's not overly heavy compared to the 4000mAh version.

    • +3

I mean it's 6000mAh. It can only be heavier.

Perfect if your outboard motor breaks down, just hold this in the water until you’re at your destination. Old NZNavy trick, if you don’t have your Dyson hairdryer on you.

    • +2

Finally a practical uses for these things.

The NZ navy still has ships? I thought DEI hires sunk them all?

      • +2

Didn’t you read the article, it definitely didn’t sink because the captain was a woman, and it definitely wasn’t because she was doing her makeup and texting while steering the ship, and even if she was it doesn’t matter because women can multi-task like a boss.
It was probably the patriarchy sabotaging the boss lady by not providing enough support for her to be successful.

        • Women are good multitaskers, however looking at this captain it would seem she prefers the male look.

          • @Cheap Rich Guy: Could never understand why the lickers say they don't like men yet then go and do everything they can to look and act like a man.

just needs a 3D printed stand for versatility

I use an adjustable phone holder (that I prob got on ozbargain years ago) for the desk.

      • green colour only 4000mAH not 6000mAH

        • +1

Yea. Only the black one has the extra capacity.

          You snooze you lose.

Thanks OP. Missed the black but got the green for $19 with the coupon. I guess 4000mAH suffices for normal use. Cheers

    • +5

no, 6000mAh is the bare minimum that is acceptable.

      • Thanks. Cancelled my order

  • What do you guys use this for?

    • -3

To cool down the flames of hell

    • What do you use a fan for?

  • dang I was after a few of these for the upcoming trip to Vietnam :(

  • damm missed out again, need one for the gym..

  • I was actually looking for something to help clean my keyboards and dusty PC case etc. Anyone know if it is good for that?

  • I keep missing out on these

  • Is it normal that this fan is quite noisy even at lowest speed ?

    • Can't expect much at the end is a normal fan. Air suck in from behind from a small opening and pushed out at the front through a smaller opening.. Will have sound like it or not.
Did yours have imperfections at the front circle edge. Mine looks has to "bumps/scratches"… Don't know if its returned item, would thought if its used item I expect to see hair line scratches on the body etc.
