Try your local Asian store, there are oh so many varieties. Ones under Suntory Boss, Asahi, Pokka etc. Those cans are smaller but the normal price is $2 to $2.50
E.g.
This one at Coles is on special for 2.5 down from 4. But its 2.5 everyday at my local Asian store.

I remember my local Asian shop had good Nescafe cans of coffee. I stopped buying them years ago because they put the price up too high.

It does feel more "premium" sort of can
its worse. the heavy base of the can makes it feel like there is always something left as others have mentioned.
you're also paying for the extra weight in shipping whether you like it or not.
i would gladly take it in a yogurt squeeze pack if it meant it was cheaper.

The standard brown cans only have 6gms of sugar.
They are sweet but you can get blue cans (which are my fav!).
Really like these, though I wish they were a little bigger. The cans always make me think there more liquid in them, then get disappointed when I'm finished.

I got a few cans when they were $1 on milkrun, they are pretty mid definitely would not pay regular price for it… Very bland/watered down tasting coffee.
Never been but apparently they are sold in Japan out of vending machines everywhere for even less than that. It is cheap stuff being marked up to rip us off like everything else.
Yeh same with those -196 drinks that are apparently like $1-2 at 7/11 in Japan but sold for $9 here 😂
Compared to most other iced coffees on the shelves here it's pretty good though.
Hunt and Brew iced coffee is GOATed, but this stuff is pretty good too. Good price.
Off topic.. but I loved Japan because you could get cold canned coffee for $1.40 straight from the vending machine.
