Does the device freeze itself or is it a pup in the freezer then pop back in the machine type of deal.. ?

  I don't have one but based on '1 x Quick Freeze Bowl' you'll probably have to put the bowl into the freezer then when you want to use it, pop it back out, put ingredients into the bowl and put it into the machine and it'll start churning it to make ice cream

    no way you can get a self freeze ice cream maker for $15… not even $150 will get you one.
