As a present St. Lukes customer, I would personally suggest people look at other providers.
App & website is very clunky, and not intuitive as well as every claim seems to be a hassle. Haven't had any good experiences when dealing with them in their branches.
I'll be changing for sure, with my last straw being they denied a claim for my daughter's psych appointment for no reason, upon chasing them get told my my account has not been paid even though it has. So now have to deal with accounts over that issue, only to then have to re-apply a 2nd time to get my claim sorted again.

Would ignore it if this was the only time, but spoken to many people who are with them and everyone seams to say pretty well the same thing.
Just a pain to deal with.

Take it or leave it, just my 2c.

  • St Lukes has the cheapest (non corporate restricted) Gold hospital cover in all 'states' except WA & NT. I had a claim earlier this year, no issues. I use a different company for Extras (St Lukes policies didn't suit me).

  • Just to also add my 2¢ worth. St Lukes is the only fund I know that doesn't publish its Fund Rules.

Every other fund has Fund Rules readily available.

The lack of transparency makes me very wary of St Lukes.

    Buy at your own risk.
