Cashback terms and exclusions

What will stop me getting my cashback:

  • SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase, and must not be deactivated until your cashback is payable. If the SIM is deactivated prior, Boost may decline cashback.

  • Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. If there is more than one SIM in an order, it will result in an untracked purchase and the purchase will be ineligible for cashback.

  • Cashback is ineligible on eSIMs, recharges, phones, bundles, accessories.

  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.

  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of gift cards and/or use of gift cards for payment.

  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential:

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.

  • Always return to TopCashback and click through via the pink cashback button to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.

Good to know:

  • Ensure you disable plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole & VPNs prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback as they will prevent your order from tracking.

  • If you cancel / return / exchange / modify your completed order, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

What to do and when:

  • Missing cashback claims must be lodged within 90 days of purchase.

    Like with CR I tried multiple browsers, cleared my cache, used private/incognito mode, used a different address, used a different email. Nothing worked.

    Deal is unattainable.

    How many years does Boost/Telstra need to fix a website?

    I have never been with Boost (thus everything is new for them - ip address to their website, new visa, new home address, new email). I have tried to buy this deal both through cashrewards and topcashback.
    Using edge without ublock and also did incognito mode
    I see most people failing to succeed are old/current customers.

    Any one have any suggestions for a new user?

    Tried everything, what a frustrating company.

  • Kogan is $139 for 200GB, if Vodafone network is better than Telstra where you live, Kogan is much better deal and much less hassle.

  • I have boost yearly Sim with 67 days remaining of the due date, can I buy this one today with cashback and go with Optus for a 28 day sim and comeback and activate this yearly card, will that work ?

    I am sufficient with 170 gb plan.

    Tracked within 7 minutes of purchase. Received an email notification from TCB. Adguard disabled. No VPN. Much better experience than with SB or CR.

    Edit: Purchased on TCB iOS app. Used the ING debit card for purchase. Had issues with ANZ credit card.

    • According to the original post you may not get cashback as the purchase was made through the app.

      Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

    • Try entering your address manually.
      The option appears as and how u type you address in the auto complete address text box.
      The over smart auto complete was adding and extra Level # and building number for me and my order was failing too..

  • This still isn’t showing in my TCB account. Exactly what I was worried about.

        Their website now says they do not support untracked claims with Boost Mobile….this is garbage.
