VCOM 60W USB 3.1 5Gbps USB-C to USB-C Cable 1m $3.42 (Out of Stock), VCOM USB 3.1 5Gbps USB-A to USB-C 1m $2 Shipped @ AZAU

600

Good price on these USB 3.1 Gen 1 spec'd USB-C cables that support fast data transfers up to 5Gbps. Making them an excellent choice for transferring files quickly and use with docks and storage enclosures. Especially when most USB-C cables posted here are only USB 2.0.

A downside is that the USB-C to USB-C cable will only do 60W fast charging instead of 100W. If you don't care about fast data transfers and you're happy with USB 2.0, then you can get a VCOM USB-C to USB-C 100W cable here for $2.

  • Do they support a video signal? ( DP Alt mode)

    • +2

      Yes, as they're USB 3.1 Gen 1 5Gbps spec'd. You'll want the USB-C to USB-C cable.

      • Thanks, what about the 100W C to C for $2?

        • +2

          No since that's a USB 2.0 480Mbps cable.

I really, really hate these USB naming conventions…

        • +4

Yes. USB 3.2 Gen 1x1 is the new name of USB 3.1 Gen 1 which was the new name of USB 3.1 which was the new name of USB 3.0.

          • @Clear: Not sure if it's bad naming conventions or just me getting old.

Giving up….. +1 for the explanation.

            • @CoronavirusVaccine: USB-IF need to stay off the pingas when naming these things. At least they've tried to make USB4 less confusing. I.e. USB4 20Gbps, USB4 40Gbps and USB4 80Gbps.

Unless you want to involve Thunderbolt and then it becomes a dumpster fire.

  • Needed one of these, thanks :)

  • Any good for metà quest 3 link cable?

    • Yep 5Gbps is sufficient.

      • Thanks

    • Too short though

  • Good price. Thanks OP

  • C to C out of stock, but got two of the A to C, thanks!
