I remember getting $500 for $59 a month for 12 months, those were the days. Probably only 60GB or something, but I still don't use that today, let alone 3 years ago.
IMO the better deals from JB at the moment are the $750 gift card on the 150GB $79 plan, or the free S24 FE on the $79 plan. But they're still not good deals, just better.
Got the free iPad pro M1 11 inch a couple of years ago on the 300GB $69 plan at JB, but just got booted by Telstra onto a JB 200GB plan at same price. Sold the iPad pro

if it is like the ones before, - get the GC, cancel next day. pay penalty of 760+one month fee (they may waive it), so upside is 180ish-260 discount on a 1000 GC + that ring camera thing.
Wonder if they will eventually catchup to the hack - i guess most ppl arent ozbargin rats like us :)

dont think it works that way, once you go in store, they will charge your card on file.
How do you get them not to activate though? would save the hassle of cancelling getting charged.
It does, my dad did it with the iPhone 15 offer they ran earlier in the year
They give you the SIM, and you have to insert it in the phone and activate the service, but you can call Telstra to have them cancel it without activating and they refund the first month
It's been better, but this deal still not too bad
Does this work porting in from belong? It says excludes goodguys Telstra and boost but belong is owned by Telstra
