The question was asked before the post was edited to include this information. You can see the revision history up top. Question asked 1hr 6min ago, post edited 57min ago. Stuarty9 doesn't deserve the negs

        • +4

          Thanks mate.
          Some people, uh

          • +6

@stuarty9: I didn't neg you btw. But apologies as I wasn't aware the post was edited after you asked the question

            • @firestint: You got negged for apologizing?! There are some real douchers here

        • no worries mate. to anyone else I don't think fierstint deserves any negs either, there's already two since my comment. they had no ill intent when answering the question, I'm sure if I they hadn't replied then others would have answered the same.

  • pay for 2 years subscription, and get 130% cash back???

    • +3

Yes, correct. Now trust us with your data ;)

      • is that a no-go??

        • +1

i reckon you are the product in this 'deal'

      • I don't use it. Just for the profit ;-)

  • How much total spend in AUD and how much cash back exactly would come back. Including all taxes and dramas

    • +4

I have just subscribed for 2 year Max plan and paid $164 AUD, waiting for tracked cb amount

      • +2

Good luck, my last NordVPN still pending after two month here….

    • +6

Update: My CB got tracked at $206.84 so profit of ~$43

      • My Max plan 2 yrs just costed me around A$100. Did I do something I wasn't supposed to, and I won't get tracked?

        • Have you received tracking confirmation email from Topcashback? You can also check in your Topcashback account if the balance has increased.

  • +2

    @neoleo @trixieb round 3? Off TCB AU 🤩
How likely is “Payout” when TCB status turns to “Confirm”? Is there any other clause/traps which may cause them to decline it once it’s turned Confirmed?

    • +1

Very likely we hope. From TCB:

After a certain number of weeks, your transaction will normally switch to ‘Confirmed’ status. This means that the merchant has pretty much agreed that all is fine with your transaction and your cashback will be forthcoming at some point. At this point, the merchant may not yet have been invoiced by their affiliate network (so your cashback will certainly not have yet reached us).

At a later date still, the affiliate network will have invoiced the merchant and should have received your cashback. At this point your transaction will switch to ‘Payable’ status. Once your transaction has switched to Payable status, you can claim your cashback at any time.

I paid $193.69 for 5 year plan on 24/8 and was tracked at $244.4. Cashback was confirmed on 6/10. Hopefully it will be paid out soon.

    • But according to T&C: "Cashback is ineligible on 5-year plans and/or any Teams multi-user plans."???

      • +4

me1stt bought the 5 year plan in August and it was included in the cashback offer then. It is not included recently.

  • +1

Hooray, paid to route all our internet through some company. There is nothing suspicious about that!

Also hasn't stopped me before. But I didn't like PureVPN much for some reason. Halfway through my last subscription I went back to Nord or Surfshark. Equally non-suspicious companies. But they probably only had 110% cash back, ripoff

    • +3

Can we not just sign up and never use their service?

      • +4

Correct, do this for profit only

  • Why hasn't there been much from cashrewards or shop back…

    • Because CR don't care being funded by ANZ and Shopback is poor and has become unstable.

  • +1

Charged $164.20, will update when tracked.

    Update: tracked at $206.84
    $40ish profit expected, heck. yes.

  • This or Nord?

    • +1

Buy now think later. Just for the profit ;-)
You don't have to use it if you don't want.

  • Can anyone comment on tracking from previous purevpn deals?

    • +1

      Usually takes about an hour

    • +1

      took me around 2 hours

  • TCB stated the following condition: Ensure you disable plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole & VPNs prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback as they will prevent your order from tracking. Will it be tracked if I am using the VPN app (NordVPN), not the browser extension, while I am making the purchase?

    • Probably not, no. Running a VPN risks the tracking cookies not getting through

  • +2

If it's real or not, is up to you to do a research and draw your own conclusions, but
    https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/cyberstalking…

  • Tracked more than what I spent, so it's a profit thanks OP

    • I made a purchase 10 mins ago, not yet tracked. Is this supposed to be instant?

      • Will take couple of hours

        • thanks mate

          Ps tracked after 1 hour

  • If this works out thats about $100 profit ive made form topcashback

    • Did you mean you signed up two accounts?

  • would they still track if i made purchase on Chrome browser instead of cashback app?

    • I only use chrome

    • Yes, especially Chrome mobile browser as it doesn't have extensions. I haven't tried desktop browser.

  • +1

Is there cashback on the optional add-ons to the plans, like dedicated IP and port forwarding? Assume answer is no but thought it was worth asking!

  • How we remove creditcard details after subsription?

    • login to purevpn, subscriptions on the left side, payment method, change to dummy details I'm guessing? this may affect if you go for a refund though

      • are you saying…once we receive cashback, then we cancel the subscription, and we will get refund from pureVPN?

        • Are you asking how to commit fraud?

        • +1

refund if cancelled in 31 days..but then again ur tracking will be void. so no cashback

        • +2

          im referencing this

"PureVPN offers a 31-day money-back guarantee. If there is no tracking, It would be wise to request for a refund from PureVPN within 31 days of your purchase rather than submit a claim."

    • You should only use Paypal for this transaction. If there's fraud transactions on your card, remember my words …

It's best to use cards through PayPal or Apple/Google Pay as merchants cannot get our real card numbers.

Or only use virtual cards like Wise or Revolut. I can have 3 Wise virtual cards, use them, delete them and get 3 new virtual cards again. Repeat ;-)

Sorry to vent but I don’t like this company. Tried this last time. Paid the 200 something dollars, couple days went by and it had not tracked. I asked Pure customer service what was going on and they told me they were having issues and were in contact with top cash back. Few more days go by, no updates, told me to be patient, I did. Then a week or 2 go by and nearly forgot about it but when I asked what was up, they told me they are having problems with top cash back and to be patient. You only get a few weeks to get your money back, so I did because I’m sure they were hoping I’d just forget. Got send my money thru PayPal a few hours later and there was what I suppose was GST of about $20 I had lost. (profanity) me, never again.

    • i got this within an hour.

      • Hmm. Interesting I want to give it another shot so I break even and they already have my data but don’t want to risk it again

    • Sorry to hear, TCB has had a lot of lost tracking and some never get paid out and because it was months ago, who would remember what happened. Heck I don't even remember what I had for lunch last week!
I'll update my experiences here after subscribing.

      • Well their systems should have something and u should have proof ot the screenshots n the transactions so why no cashback?

    • tracked within an hour. will see cashback after, 3 months?

  • +1

    @noelhoi @trixieb
When I asked TA whether it is allowed to purchase this multiple times with different email for each transaction, TA didn't answer directly.

    His reply:
"Please read the terms in the OP and here :)

    https://www.topcashback.com.au/purevpn/

    You'll find your answer."

    After some reading:
"c) A genuine purchase is being made (see points (e) and (g)). Repeat purchases may not qualify for Cashback and you must purchase for genuine reasons.

    e) You have received confirmation from the retailer or their tracking network that your purchase is a qualifying transaction. As explained above, whether or not a purchase is a qualifying transaction is entirely at the discretion of the retailer and you acknowledge that we will not be liable for any Cashback to you if the retailer does not accept your transaction as a qualifying transaction."

I am not able to login Topcashback US at the moment :-( I have sent messages through Contact page, no reply yet. Worst case scenario will be refund.

I am not sure if I can buy this multiple times …

    • +3

Hi. My response to your question was for TopCashback AU, not US. The term I was referring to with regards your question was this:

Only one PureVPN purchase is permitted per member account per calendar month.

It's stated in the OP of this deal and on the TopCashback link:

      https://www.topcashback.com.au/purevpn/

      Thanks.

      • +1

Only one PureVPN purchase is permitted per member account per calendar month.

This term didn't exist previously … I haven't read this part for the term and condition …

        Thanks for clarifying.

  • +1

I wish we could buy this multiple times every week/month … There are 6 different Topcashback websites in different regions/languages that have PureVPN in these websites. It will be fun to play this Ponzi VPN cashback and we may be able to buy Tesla car or just one more Rolex or whatever from these cashback transactions … You're dreaming …

So, TA has confirmed only 1 purchase per month is the limit of this …

    • +2

We wish. May have to look at other options such as BYD or Omega :)

Only one PureVPN purchase is permitted per member account per calendar month.

New term added in this offer.

      • Yeah, I checked this term didn't exist previously. I guess I have to get refunds from all my PureVPN transactions through Topcashback US if I cannot login anymore …

        • +1

TopCashback AU transactions would be fine as there was only one 130% cashback per month in Aug and Sep.

How many PureVPN transactions did you make on TopCashback US? You would refund with PureVPN directly and there is a "File a refund" option in the "Subscriptions" section.

          • @trixieb: Yeah I know. I made several PureVPN transactions there … Each with different email and after tracking confirmation for each transaction. Of course deleted all browsing data before each transaction, even with wifi and mobile.

Previously I got refund because Shopback didn't track or maybe deliberately choose not to track.

      • Imagine AI and bots replace most if not all human jobs. Our next job could be VPN profit hunter :P

  • T&Cs' changing soon? lol

    • Already changed … Straight under "What will stop me getting my cashback"

  • I don't see transaction anywhere but I clicked and created new account.

Is there way to check my click is registered?

    • +2

Wait until you have received confirmation email from Topcashback maybe under 1 hour after purchase. Then you'll see it in its website/app too.

Usually I do this in a mobile browser. After purchase, I can go back to the other browser tab of Topcashback website that shows "We've recorded your visit"

      • I didn't receive any emails but my Topcashback account shows PureVPN Purchase $159.11 Cashback $206.84 (pending). Does this mean it's tracked?

        • Yes.

Check your email again, maybe in spam?

          • @neoleo: Checked spam nothing. I have actually got quite a few cashbacks from TCB before. I just searched my mailbox and could find any emails about cashback confirmation.

EDIT: ah, I had this turned off.. under profile -> Transaction Notification: Alerts for any new cashback transactions that have tracked to your account.

          • @neoleo: Cashback $206.84. Does it mean I'm getting $206.84???

  • Don't know whether to get this or not. My PIA plan expired a couple of months ago, but for some reason it still works on the app just not on desktop or anywhere else. Hmmm….

    • +1

      Buy now think later :P
      Free refund …
Profit is not bad for next lunch/dinner or other bargain…

You don't have to use it if you don't want.

  • Can i buy this and get the cash back, but never use it again and still get the cashback?

    • Yes, I have personally done it a few different times with the PIA and NordVPN deals

  • Not Working at the payment keep getting Message Error Detected, tired both CC and paypal

    • Maybe because you didn't clear all your browsing data … I always do this before purchasing through cashback websites.

Must be always different email. I changed default email in Paypal too. We can put many emails in Paypal and choose 1 as default.

  • +1

Does using gmail plus(+) additions count as a separate email?

  • Price displayed for 2 year max plan was $109.95.

Presumed this was AUD and only realised otherwise when I was charged $164.23 (CBA). Wish I’d thought about it as I’ve got a different fee-free card for overseas spends.

Learn from my mistake and use a card with no overseas transaction fees if signing up, can’t have the banks swallowing that tasty profit!

    • The rest of the peeps above also got charged AUD$164ish… do u think your fee free card can give better result..?

      • I used my ING and got charged $171.

        • According to xe.com USD109.99 is AUD 164.49 as of rn… those AU$164 figures are pretty much fee free and at the best rate…
