        To be fair, the gift card in that "policy" refers to woolies gift cards as a payment method, in which the system will reject automatically. With these vanilla gift cards, woolies system still allow them as a payment method. It's a separate issue now - refunding back to these vanilla visa.

            @Neilzy: That's odd.. the lady in the morning were very nice when it wasn't working but if you do have time and can go to dingley village (just down cheltenham road) staff there were lovely (after not refunding me in the morning but they fixed that up).

            Up to their discretion of course but the lovely lady let me process through 5x $100 and then 1x $100 and 1 x $50 (to pay off an ebgames preorder)

    So now what, take it up with ultimate?

    I don't want to open a pack up to check the balance online if I can avoid it

    Just bought 29 x $100 ultimate everyone (old version) in VIC.

    All activated, checked balance for one card before proceeding and it’s showing $110 balance.

    Staff was nice enough to let me purchase.

    Will check the balance for all the remaining cards and update.

    Anyone else receiving an error when trying to add the Ultimate Everyone cards to their Apple wallet? I was able to add 5, but then my remaining 5 are getting the error: "Your Issuer Does Not Yet Offer Support for This Card"
    Checked the balances online and it says Activated (can see the bonus amount added aswell)

        I noticed a few things:

        1. When I faced the error while trying to add more than 5 cards on my iPhone, I just tried adding the card from my Macbook (through System Settings) into my Apple Wallet instead and it went through.. So not sure if Apple or BlackHawk Network has some sort of limit per day..
        2. I tried adding again today and it went through. Kinda weird but there must be some kinda limit on how much you can add to Apple Wallet per day or something..

          It sounds like you were running afoul of the fraud checks that Apple runs when you attempt to add a new payment card to Apple Pay. Apple mentions this in their Apple Pay privacy policy and this help article.

          Google and Samsung also run fraud checks on their mobile wallet platforms too, but Apple appears to be the most aggressive/persistent with their fraud checks.

    How do I "merge" them into fewer, larger Ikea egift cards?

      I suspect the only way you can do this is to go to a physical IKEA store to purchase an IKEA gift card and ask to do split payments. (If you are at an IKEA self checkout, you will need to assistance from a staff member to do split payments.)

      You cannot redeem Ultimate gift cards on the IKEA website.

      You can go to the Ultimate gift card exchange portal to exchange an Ultimate gift card for a digital IKEA gift card, but you can only exchange an Ultimate gift card one at a time. That means you can exchange one Ultimate gift card for one or more IKEA gift cards on this portal, but you cannot exchange/consolidate multiple Ultimate gift cards into one IKEA gift card on this portal.

      I am also not sure if you can consolidate multiple IKEA gift cards into one at IKEA (either through the website or in-store), as I am not sure if IKEA allows you to buy an IKEA gift card using an IKEA gift card.

      The Good Guys told me there isn't a maximum limit in-store. I have used over 20 gift cards for one purchase in-store. They were a combination of Ultimate cards on my mobile wallet, Ultimate physical cards and The Good Guys eGift cards.

          Good luck. When I've asked recently, it has been no (same with JB Hi-fi & it's commercial).

          However 2 years ago, I was successful for a washing machine where The Good Guys price matched The Good Guys Commercial price over the phone. The item was a new model and not reduced yet so I don't know if it made a difference. The invoice was sent to my phone and initially was told I had to use the link to pay. Went into the store and was able to pay in-store without using the link. I paid with my credit card. I'm a recent user of gift cards so didn't use gift cards then.
