  • Can I do this, but hold on to the hour cards, or will they be activated at purchase? I'd grab a couple to hang on to if I could just activate them whenever in a few months or so

    • No, cards expire at close of day. Ask me how I know :(

    • I found this statement in their T&Cs (under Time Play Packages):

The allocated time begins after the successful completion of the purchase (the transaction) and the time play package cannot be used at a later date or time in future.

I rang their staff at 1300 421 567 but the person on the phone does not know. He suggested going to the venue and asking there. I also rang a few stores in Melbourne and Perth but the calls were diverted to the 1300 number.

    • Wanting to know this too, if the first taps can be applied on different days

  • Does this promotion apply at Kingpin arcades?

    • +1

Unfortunately Kingpin said no. They offer the same double credits this weekend.

  • Time play is getting expensive especially for young kids! Some venues such as archie brothers even stopped offering time play altogether now.

  • I don't suppose you can top up with double credits and then use those credits to buy the hourly pass?

    • Probably not. Their T&Cs state:

Your gameplay credit balance cannot be used during a Time Play package. After the time has lapsed, credit balances will be able to be used.

      • That sounds like you can't use your credits to pay for games during the package. However I think there is a very slim chance you can use your credits to pay for the package.

  • Haven't been to Timezone, so I am assuming with Timeplay, you can't swipe multiple games with a card within a short period of time?

Both cards start ticking down remaining time once one of them is swiped?

  • The tapping lock out period is around 30-45s from memory. We used a maccas monopoly 30 min one and it had from memory something like 30 plays on it (even though it was meant to be 30 min time based)
