    • +20

They’ll need to check whether it’s a lady finger or cavendish variety.

      • +2

Are the lady finger the red tipped ones? Maybe too much lady finger then.

        • +2

lol. Those are the larger cav ones. Makes sense for the red tip.

    • +2

      I have 100% ornagic grown.

      • +1

          • -1

@seanbaussie: and I'm very grateful for that, although I wish it'd stop everyone from posting the same damn thing on every deal involving a condom or remotely phallic fruit

            • @PKBeam: Its about as phallic a fruit as a phallic fruit gets

  • All I could think of was this

  • -2

Draw a face and glasses on it and chat to it like its human, might clear the gym

  • +5

There's going to an increase in slip and fall injuries that day.

  • +1

I am acting club manager at one of the gyms doing this promotion and I haven't even been told about this.

At least I know what my social media post is going to be on Monday morning 😁

    Thank you OP

Looked great, until I saw this in the T&Cs

Claimants consent to the Service Provider or the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a successful Claimant (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter or the Service Provider.

    Nope, pass.

    • +4

Ouch. Thats a big ol’ no.

      • +3

Cumon guys no one wants to photograph your ugly mug, or your banan….a!

        • Scammers do for se*tortion … To get your money if you don't want your private photos spread across the internet.

    • +3

There's also a chunky term regarding how they may use your personal info for markerting puposes, which is to be expected. No free lunch here unless you count the banana.

The Promoter and Service Providers collect personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter and Service Providers will also use and handle PI as set out in their Privacy Policies, which can be viewed at [https://www.horticulture.com.au/privacy-policy/] for Horticulture Innovation Australia Limited, [https://www.clublime.com.au/default/includes/display_objects/custom/images/legalstuff/Privary%20Policy%20(30-Jun-21).pdf] for Viva Leisure Memberships Pty Ltd and [https://www.fitlg.com/privacy-policy] for FITNESS AND LIFESTYLE GROUP BIDCO PTY LTD. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s and Service Providers’ Privacy Policies, the Promoter and Service Providers may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the Claimant. The Privacy Policies also contains information about how Claimants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how Claimants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. Unless otherwise indicated by the Promoter and Service Providers, the Promoter and Service Providers may disclose PI to entities outside of Australia (for a list of the countries, see the Promoter’s and Service Providers’ Privacy Policies), and cannot guarantee that any overseas recipient will not breach the Australian Privacy Principles. By entering the promotion Claimants consent to the overseas transfer on these terms as permitted by the Australian Privacy Principles and agree that the Promoter and Service Providers are not liable in this regard.

No free lunch here unless you count the banana.

Even the banana isn't free, you have to buy it!

        • +1

In certain festivals on the streets when Woolworths is participating as a stand during weekend, people can get a free fruit include banana :P

          • +1

@neoleo: There’s free fruit (usually bananas) all the time in the fruit and vege section for “kids”

    • So you’re saying that my face and my Johnson might end up in some b grade short film. Ah well, wouldn’t be the first time.

    • Unlimited is a long time

    • They pay me not to be part of their brand

  • +1

There's always money in the banana stand

  • +4

So it’s a free entry at the gym but you show your banana at the park and you get arrested.

  • +1

Wonder if the gym will take down your details then afterwards call you from time to time to pressure you to sign up for a gym membership

  • +1

It feels like you should probably just sign up for a free trial for the gym (like many have) rather than this. They will probably collect all the same information anyways.

  • This kiinda fruity thho

  • +3

Give 1 million monkeys 1 million typewriters and they'll eventually come up with an advertising campaign.

  • you will need to register and complete health and safety documentation on arrival at your participating gym. The gym will be within their right to refuse entry if they are at capacity, so we would recommend calling ahead of time.

  • Note : free gym for the cost of your details

    • Random phone number friendo

  • Was going to take up this offer but it just feels too awkward

  • +1

Fake promo. Gyms nearby participating at fitness first and won’t allow past members to use this promo. New sign ups would normally get a one week free pass anyway in exchange for your details. So worst than normal

    • You can give a fake detail since they never ask for id check at least for me.
