I made a couple of purchases from Woolworths Everyday Market when Shopback was offering 30% cashback a couple of days ago ($200 cap per transaction)
I purchased a Sony Playstation 5 console for $668 and a Backbone One controller ($129)
Even though I clicked directly from the shopback website to access Everyday Market each time, my purchases didn't track. They were however recorded in shopbacks click activity, So after waiting the correct amount of time, I lodged missing cashback claims in hope they would be corrected.
It appears they have now manually added the amounts to my list of pending cashbacks, however it showing the wrong amounts. The purchases were made during a 28% cashback offer (30% from shopback plus members) but my adjusted amounts are only for 2%.
This is a drastic difference on my purchases, $13.36 vs $200 for PS5 and $2.58 vs $12.90 for the backbone one. The issue being, shopback say do not lodge another dispute on the same transaction, so I'm just not sure what my next step should be, I do not wish to have my cashback voided due to disputing again.
Has anyone dealt with similar issues and can recommend how to proceed?. Thanks for reading.
Edit: I have read in T&C that 'Your Cashback may be tracked at a different rate initially and adjusted to the correct rate when we confirm the transaction details.' So maybe the total will change.
There is no way you're getting $200 off a PS5 through cashback. There's usually exclusions for these items.
