12v Lithium Batteries - Anyone Purchased from Temu/AliExpress?

I have a cheap lithium battery in the back of my ute which I'm very happy with.

Now looking for as lithium setup for a camper trailer. Wondering how a direct from China battery would go compared to a cheap Australian supplier (Gentrax, Outback Kings etc). I know they won't be near as good as a good quality product with new cells, but that's not the comparison I'm going for.

Also, any customs issue with batteries coming in?

Cheers

How much would you really be saving? $50? $100? Is it really worth the hassle, risk, no warranty and lack of peace of mind?

You will find basically all batteries are just white label branded Chinese stuff anyway, you can't just go "Country of origin good or bad" it depends on the supplier, cells etc.

Have a look on YouTube and reddit you'll find real world testing of a variety of aliexpress brands to find one that is pretty good, typically for half the price or less then an "Australian" one.

I personally find Australia is one of the worse places for selling white label products with Aussie branding and marketing for 500%+ mark up.

    Nope

    • Most "white label" batteries here are made in Indonesia
