  • Are they really good since 2021 released?

    • +2

I'd say yes. People still love the WH-1000XM4 over the sequel and they're from 2020.

Looking at the Amazon reviews just from 2024, there are quite a lot of 1 star reviews.

      50 1 star versus 250 5 star

That's a weird thing to focus on.

      • +5

50 x 1 stars is a heck of a lot, but I guess they're cheap as chips so that might check out.

Still on the What Hifi best Headphones for 2024 list 🙂

I mean what hifi is not the greatest site for audio because they are very biased but yes for this price its incredible value.

    • Do you own a pair?

    • Coming from a person who likes the crappy seiko coutura line.. I find your comment hilariously ridiculous. Your taste is literally the type of crap the eshays go for. All bling no substance.

Brother , relax… alright? relax… I've tried a bunch of other headphones and they're all sh*t compred to the bose $300-400 ones. None of them have the power and punchiness of the Bose. There is a reason that people go for Bose products.

The $400 sonys might be OK or on part with the bose, but these sh*tty ones most certainly are not - i can imagine how frail and itinny they sound.

Also the coutura has a load of great features and a sleep look, for a fair price.

That's the lovely thing about choice. You instantly dismissed this product or the type of people who buy the product. But when the same thing was directed at you, the people need to relax?
Bro let people enjoy what they want to enjoy.. I spend thousands of dollars on a watch just like you spend hundred on ear phones.. not all people have the same budget for certain items.
If people want a great sounding earphone for less than $50 this is it.
Also the coutura is not sleek it's gaudy but if you like it kudos to you. It's your decision. It just sounds hypocritical from you judging others buying this earphone

@maverickjohn: Brother, please, relax. OK? There is a difference between spending $300 - $400 on earphones and $15 000 on a rolex or whatever.

You can get a watch under $1000 ($500 even) that does everything that the more expensive one does, except have the prestige, but you can't really find one for $100 that does the same.

There is a minimum you need to spend to get a decent product. At a certain point, when you're buying something cheap that's got a reputation for being expensive, you're just being ripped off. That is unless (for example) you managed to cop a 1TB S23 ultra on here for $1000 the other day.

The amount of times people have cheaped out on something, had it break or perform sub-far - it would have just been better to buy the expensive item.

I am not talking about buying Versace or Gucci or something and being flashy, I am saying that there is usually a minimum you need to spend to get a product that performs adequately.

I remember buying some sh*tty $500 LG android phone once and being blown away that my old iPhone that I was replacing actually performs better… had to sell it and get my money back.

BTW I've tried headphones like the samsung galaxy pro range, etc, and others, and they're not cheap - none of them are as good as the Bose QC.

2 for $78 delivered with the code: STUDENTE20.

Seems decent enough for the price but no ANC is a deal breaker for me

  • How is this compare to moondrop space travel?

  • Any chance to price match at JB Hi Fi?

  • These things are awesome for battery life, they'll last 11 hours outside of the case.

Damn out of stock. I have these and use them every day and love them!

Paid $100 and would get a backup set at this price.

  • This only has 5.8mm drivers, should be ok for normal listening but don't expect the bass. For bass, go for the discontinued WF-XB700's which has 12mm drivers.
