I paid $210 for this bloody thing and I thought it was a bargain 🤦‍♂️

    • Well it was cheaper than recommended retail so it was . Just not as good as this , if you do cash back .

$155 is very good for 170GB, but not enought data for me… i got a 260GB for $205 last black friday so they may do another cashback on that one this year.

  • +2

It actually worked. Not sure why it did not work with TCB.

    • +1

It's got to be a Boost thing right? If you had tried TC today I imagine it would have worked.

  • Has anyone had their cashback rejected for not activating within the 30 day window?

  • +1

    I don't understand!

It says SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering.

But also says it Includes 170GB on activation by 10 March 2025. From 11 March includes 160GB on activation. For new customers only.

So how do you buy it for activation in say Feb next year?

    • The first set of terms is for Boost, the second for CR. If you want that cashback you need to activate within 30 days of ordering.

      • A few have reported that they still received the cashback outside the 30 days window hence I asked.

        • +3

i can confirm i received cash back even outside of 30 day activation. I bought several all activated outside 30 days

    I am confused
what is the last day that I can activate the sim card to use it?
what is the last day that I can activate the sim card for cashback purpose?

    • 170GB on activation by 10 March 2025. From 11 March includes 160GB on activation.

For cashback you need to activate within 30 days of ordering.

      • thanks mate

  • Can I return the sim I orded when it was 50 cashback with topcashback?

  • +1

SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering.

This is only a requirement from Cashrewards to qualify for the $75 cashback.
SIM can still be activated after 30 days (until SIM expiry date) but your forfeit the cashback.

This is the biggest issue for me with these Boost Cashrewards deals. Great for those who's existing SIM is expiring soon but not those (like me) who are planning ahead for when the Boost $230/170GB option is discontinued.

    Identification
When taking delivery of your purchase, you'll need to show the same ID you used in your order – for security reasons.

    Profanity you Boost.

Given how wonderful delivery services have been in the last few years, they just stuffed it into my letterbox both of the times I ordered one.

      • +1

        wonderful delivery services

Thats exactly why they don’t need my licence details for an inactive sim that’s only $230. If they can’t be trusted to deliver mail correctly they can’t be trusted with my identification.

        • Um Boost Mobile and Australia Post are different companies lol. Besides Boost needs your ID to activate anyway due to government legislation.

I've had "Signature Required" deliveries left, I imagine it's super easy to squiggle a line on a digital pad the drivers carry and can always access.

I keep getting an error, anyone else having trouble purchasing a sim?

    • +1

I have tried abt 5 times different browsers etc - getting ' Something went wrong' error

    • +1

I've tried with different browsers, different credit cards, different ID checks (drivers license vs passport) and even with the Android Cashrewards app and still no success.

  • +1

why cannot i place an order? any thoughts? it gives an error and tell try later..

    • I have tried abt 5 times different browsers etc - getting ' Something went wrong' error

It's flagging for users who have used this plan previously or already got it. I'm pretty sure it's pegged to ID doc and Address. I used all other details to fill out but no luck. I used this plan one time and was thinking to get one for wifeyy

    • Those having error on last step checkout. Try Cashreward app on mobile instead of pc. I had same issue with windows browsers but works fine when using mobile app (cashreward).

  • Once activated can you change to esim, or is it best to wait until cashback has been received?

    • +1

wait for Cashback to be received.

  • +1

I note that I have one Boost cashback still pending from June, so god knows if they're approving these on time.

  • Currently on Boost, do I need to wait 30 days on a different network to be able to use this as a new customer?

    • +1

No need to wait that long. You can port back in less than an hour after you port out of Boost.

  • No, you don't have to wait 30 days.

  • I have just tried as well and see to be getting an error that something went wrong

  • Are there any good offers or cashbacks for a 28-day Boost SIM?
(or any other vendor, for 28-days only?)

I have overseas relatives arriving next weekend, and we just need a SIM for 3-weeks.

  • Been trying to get this for the past hour, and it's not looking good….
Keeps telling me some Technical Error.
What is happening, how do I get a Card???
