I saw GucciTofu's post about the Ally X and had a look if the code works with other models. This seems to be the only other ROG laptop that has a discount preapplied and is in stock.

This laptop seems to have a bunch of gimmicks but the specs don't mess around.

    It's okay. You can find 4080 laptops for like $2899 sometimes. This one has a second small screen near the keyboard deck, that I believe is a touch display, good for editors and such. If thats worth another $400, that's up to you. Otherwise go and wait for another 4080 laptop deal to spring up probably around Christmas for around the price I mentioned.

      I think someone mentioned before if you use this for gaming, better off buy something else. If its for creators, with this much money, should just go with Macbook Pro instead.

    You bought a laptop for $6600? Why? Most $3000-$3500 laptops absolutely destroy anything and everything that most users need to do (eg high end gaming or video editing). Perhaps $4000 tops if you want 4K gaming smoothly. I can only imagine if you are in some serious niche like robotics or working for NASA would you "maybe" need to spend something like that.. but even then I would doubt it. I'm genuinely curious what you do now :)

  Yeah I even tried out a few other ROG models some work some don't, looks like Asus found this loophole and its now gone!
