What does this taste like? Is it peat and smoky?
Nah it’s the opposite. It’s a sherried speyside so more on the sweeter side. But it’s not a sherry monster. I don’t mind it generally, wouldn’t pay more than $120 for it so at $65 it’s (or was) a steal
Is it compariable to the Glenfiddich 15?
i remember before covid, aldi used to have 20-30yo whiskeys for $60 and $99. haha
Have had their 18yo blended before. Not great, I'd put that one below JW12
thx OP, got 1
Says 5 left but can’t order
OOS already! Page shows 5 but can't add it to the cart.

Got 3 thanks op

You would hope it doesnt taste like trash. Otherwise you have 3 bottles to go through
Trash taste will be good enough for Xmas party 😄
Thanks, bought one as well.
Missed out.good find Op
16 years is a long time to be sitting in stock. If they wan’t to sell this stuff quicker they should add a few more malts to increase it’s value.
why i do read it as Valvoline on my phone?
Sorry for hijacking the thread OP. The Clynelish is back in stock:
Legend
Probably tastes as good as that expensive Costco one!
The stuff tastes like burnt rubber
don't care if its a crazy price, does it taste any good?
dont care how it tastes when its a crazy price
I want more Lagavulin 16!
Not the nicest of whiskies but an excellent buy for $65. It looks like a Flora and Fauna series bottling
