Worth pointing out that a key supporter of this site is Dr Oz, who promotes homeopathy and is generally understood to be a complete whackjob. Buy the stuff if it makes you feel good, nothing wrong with placebo, but according to the TGA this place sells 'food', not stuff it needs to check will do anything it claims to do (because it generally doesn't).

No, it's worth pointing out that medical science, including that published in the most prestigious journals, is 2/3rds irreproducible trash, that medical error is the 3rd leading cause of death, and that its dietary advice over the past 60 years has lead to probably more deaths than all others combined.

Only an ignorant person or a braindead fool would entrust their health to medical authority.

      • -2

Which would you be better entrusting your health to - medical science, which never takes action based on single studies for precisely the reasons you mention and uses incredibly rigorous meta-analysis processes (see PRISMA for example) - or somebody who claims that you can deal with an malady by taking a piece of something that causes similar symptoms to that malady, telling water to 'remember' what it is, diluting that water such that there is none of that component left, just the 'water which remembers it', and using that literally pure water to treat the problem? Because that is nonsense 100% of the time. 33% accuracy seems like much better odds than 0%.

It is however VERY telling that you are claiming a commentary piece (which is not a research article) as gospel fact, when it is very obviously not saying what you think it is saying at all. Funny that research you don't like is 2/3 irreproducible trash, but not-research that says things you like is definitely correct…

It might be worth stacking this with CashRewards. I’m not 100% sure if it will work, but there’s no harm in trying

  • Hmm disappointing they are selling braggs acv, apparently it's quality is terrible now that it's owned by a new company.

It's the first product I searched, I'm skeptical now of all the other products they are selling

    • Wasn't Braggs bought by Katy Perry?
There are other brands you can buy. And how one possiblly suspect product the thousands of other products they sell is beyond my logic, perhaps you can explain. Or do you expect all retailers to do your due diligence for you?

    • I'm glad you're skeptical, I am too but because I always want to do my own due diligence

I'm also baffled, could you clarify what is it exactly about them selling a product from a company, that as of writing, is a legitimate and regulated multinational, multimillion dollar business with +100 years of brand recognition, that's also stocked by all major Australian grocery stores that makes you skeptical?

  • Website says exclusions apply. So it's not site wide

  • Now foods and nordic naturals are both discounted. These are my go to brands and all nordic / majority of now foods are third party tested. Everything i've recieved from iherb looks legit. Wont use amazon again given well documented fraudulent substitution issues.
