IKEA VAPPEBY Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker $19 + Delivery ($5 C&C under $50 Spend/ $0 in-Store) @ IKEA

170

Awesome little waterproof shower speaker. I purchased this a while back for $30 and considered it a steal. Now an ATL with the recent price drop yesterday to $19.

Charges via USB-C. Has a little hanging loop. Great for listening to podcasts/music in the shower or as a speaker around the house. Battery life has been great too.

  • How's this compared to something like JBL clip?

    • +1

Haven't tried the clip, but the sound quality on this is pretty good. Quite loud too.

      • isn't everything loud in a bathroom lol??

  • Looks like you can pair two together for stereo sounds too. Seems good for the price

  • Do this have decent enough clarity for understanding the words in podcasts? I've tried a few old Bluetooth speakers for podcasts in the shower but they're so bass heavy and not ideal.

Yep this one is fine. I'd say it intentionally has more treble. It's been great for spoken word stuff for me.

  • Misread this while scrolling past and thought IKEA was getting into vapes with the IKEA vape baby.

  • click and collect cost $5???
    Seems a bit much.

It's to discourage you from doing it — they want you to walk through the shop

Ikea. Swedish for, "We do love our cattle chute". And most of the sheep don't see the dangers ahead/being trained to submit to instructions. That word, "SUBMIT" is a command more than a request…but I digress. I'm semi-disabled and the walking in & out would be a lot for me. I'm sure I'm not alone.

$79 shipping to WA. Oh well, I'm not driving to Perth for one purpose/purchase.
