MaxV is too close to their current Master ($2699 rrp) by the features and design. I don't think they will be much cheaper. I managed to negotiate it for $1500 in TGG last month, during 10% cashback and get $150 StoreCash. I would recommend to do something similar.

For what it's worth, i picked up the MaxV for $1,217.00 from JB Hifi last week. They price matched a Good Guys receipt that was posted here.
Admittedly, the total cost was $1,400 as I had to purchase the Extra Care plan as that was on the receipt posted. The thing is a beast, my floors have never been cleaner.

We're getting to the point where it feels like just about every robovac other than the one I want (S1 Pro) has gone on sale this week (yes i know there is TGG Commercial option, but i'd prefer not to create a dummy second super account if i can avoid it).

AFAIK if your existing Super fund isn't on the list that qualify for TGG Commercial, the only way is to create another one with one of the funds that do.

@danz84: Interesting.. but I don't have one of those either unfortunately. Such a bizarre qualification required to use their commercial stores, I really would have thought running my own business would be more appropriate than a specific Super Fund or energy provider.

Always had great experience with Roborock, I have this particular model, upgrading from the S6.
MIL has Ecovac that had issues with the App that was a bit hard to navigate.
I ended up buying the Eufy X10 Omni Pro from TGG Commercial for $1183.
Based on reviews from Vacuum wars and Just a Dad on YouTube it was the best bang for buck high end model.
We are very happy with it. Object avoidance is amazing, avoids most of the crap my kids leave on the floors.
To be fair it is my first high end robot vac so I cannot give you a comparison. But for the price I paid it is well worth it.
This is an older model. The replacement is Q Revo S.

Do these have any issues with leaks ? Saw that the S version was upgraded for leaks and other minor things.
Just called JB online they connected me to the local store. Rep was able to offer Total price for maxV $1397.25. This includes extra warranty.

Worth the extra $200 for the Revo S for $1298?
①. The maximum suction power of Qrevo S is 7000Pa, compared to Qrevo's maximum of 5500Pa.
②. The dustbin capacity of Qrevo S is 330ml, slightly less than Qrevo's 350ml.
③. Qrevo S features Roborock Smart Plan, which automatically adjusts cleaning modes based on home environment and past cleaning habits, unlike the Qrevo.
④. Qrevo S offers additional features such as "Add Area" for targeted re-cleaning and "Skip Area" to by pass specific area for efficiency, both of which are not available on the Qrevo.
⑤. Qrevo S allows the robot to traverse carpets without engaging in cleaning upon detection, a capability not present in the Qrevo.
The Q Revo model is the sweetspot for me, that too only cause I want to give the mopping function a go.
Both the maxV and the S versions although superior represent less value.
Coming from the S50 which is given a good 6 years service, the Q Revo is a good upgrade to provide core improvements. The smart features, even the slightly higher suction power will I expect provide diminishing returns. Upgrading the core features only, allows me to regularly upgrade the model to benefit from the technological improvements over that time.
Appreciate of your reply and insights. Absoltely agree that the non S and maxV are not the best value product. This will be my first foray into the world of e vacs so want to make the most informed decision on capability vs cost without stretching the budget too far
Maybe I am missing something but what is the difference with Q Revo & MaxV? Is it only the additional suction?
