  • and then just get this https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0D4D3NKBL/ to refill those cassettes. Not as good as original in terms of holding odour but good incentive to clean the bin more ofter :)

    • What is the conversion rate of these - How many meters is a normal tommee tippee cassette (so I can compare how much i need)

      • I can't give you the exact numbers, but it's waaaaaaaaaaay cheaper to use these refills. I've been on a 200m roll since my child was born… 19 months ago.

  • The 12 pack is $72 S&S, or $68 if you can get the extra 5% off coupon.

Just buy nappy bags and see how you feel.

When babies are young their poop doesn't stink

    • yeah boob juice doesn't stink when it comes out. it's the solids that do.

if you can't stand the smell of your baby's poop, you've got bigger problems in life.

completely agree. it's one poop per day on average so i just use dog poop bags and dump straight to the bin.

Yeah it's like $5 for hundreds of these bags. Double bag them. It's 99% cheaper than this tommee tippee crap and less wasteful. And yes I've used both systems.

  • do they have barrel size ones? asking for a friend in South Australia.

It's too expensive to keep buying those cassettes.
I used this, then changed to a normal bin and put it outside the back garden door, so it's not that far and was okay and cheaper. I used Coles & Woolworths free fruits/vegetables plastic bag instead. You may also buy home-brand bin bags, which cost $2-3 for 100 bags.

    • Agree.

We used one of these for our first but now we just use a bucket from bunnings with normal bin liners. You keep the lid on and the smell is fine.
