Isn't this sort of soap $1 per bottle at Aldi? I refill the bottles with diluted Dr Bronners, so it's been a while since I bought one.

      Maybe fifteen years ago….

    • What's your dilution ratio to water? I was going to buy the aldi refill but a relative recc'd Dr bronners to me.

      • I go 1:4. Works perfectly in my Xiaomi auto dispenser.

      • I just had a look at my bottle with a ruler.

Normally, I eyeball 8mm of soap from the bottom. Then the rest I fill with filtered (reverse osmosis) water. Just because I have it available.

On some bottles, I've done this for about 9 years. If it's too little, I add more soap next time. If too much, I add less soap.

Pair with 3x 1L Cherry Blossom refills for $12 for best value đŸ™‚

      Cheaper than aldi?

      I checked, it is. Aldi $1.69 500ml so $3.38 p/L.

      • +8

        $3.38 per litre x 3 = $10.14
So a $2 saving over 3 whole litres.
Many would prefer it delivered to the he front door, I know I certainly do..Aldi personally not worth my time, effort or travel costs
Likely a superior product, the Palmolive.

        Just my opinion.

I just like the pump on these.

  • These are great

    • That's not foaming up properly.
The best part of these soap thingies is the foam

      • It gets your hands clean and thats all you need

      • Get normal handwash and mix it 1:4 with water. I used to go through a 1l refill of this stuff every quarter but I started mixing my own with normal handwash and I've been on the same bottle since early last year. Added bonus is the Dettol handwash I use dries out your hands wayyyyy less than this stuff.

  • The problem with this cherry one is that it's not anti bacterial.

    • Are there foaming version that are anti bacterial?

    • +1

From what I believe Anti bacterial isn't always good to be exposed to when you're washing your hands daily in a home setting. Good way to create super bugs.

      • I dunno, especially in the kitchen I prefer knowing the germs are killed. Each to their own I guess.
