Click the coupon to save $20 off the listing to get it for $313.95. SSD prices havnt been great this year, this seems to be an OK price for a reasonably rated 4TB nvme drive. According to previous deals its DRAM-less so take that into account, im using it as a steam drive and general storage drive so not too concerned

Wow, can't believe the inability to purchase items like toilet paper from amazon that I mentioned here extends to a damn SSD.

Amazon really (profanity) over those of us who don't live near cities.

It's probably to do with the cost of paying drivers to deliver to remote places from the warehouses, there simply might not even be any willing drivers.

It's pretty random what they will let me order.
Can't order toilet paper, can order 24 packs of fizzy drink cans.
Can't order specific ssd, can buy some computer cases. etc etc

        • +1

          Could be different warehouses

Interesting. Ive had the same issue with toilet paper, cereal, shampoo, body wash etc. But i can prder this still, interesting you can't.

I'm out bum fxck nowhere in region west SA, Ceduna. Closer to WA border than Adelaide. Although it doesnt really make sense i can't get all this stuff now, as I am in the ONLY way to get to WA. So everything going west has to go through here anyway.

We have an Auspost and a local contractor for Toll and other freight companies.

Here's my randomness on this ssd.

Shows as in stock and deliverable to my non metro postcode.

Add to cart and checkout - red error can't deliver to this address.

      • I had that with another item (board game) and even the price was a few dollars higher than what the deal said then clicked other offers and saw an item for the price in the deal sold by Amazon and it went through.

For the nerds its QLC but would be fine as a storage drive.

  • hmmm, the silicon power us75 4tb was $306 this morning but looks to be all sold out

  • This or the WD Black SN770? Only need 2tb will be win11 OS drive.

Both are dramless but SN770 is tlc.

      WD

    • The WD SN770 1TB is faster than the 2TB model. Might be better to go with the 1TB model if it’s for an OS drive.

  • Is this likely to drop to similar prices seen in the past (i.e. $262, or am I missing something like recent price increases in storage etc?

no idea man i just got sick of waiting

  • +1

TBH wake me up when it gets back below $300

  • Is this ok to use for gaming pc?

    • its fine for storage for your games. i probably wouldnt use it for my operating system drive but no issues running games off it
